8-A is a pretty easy tier to find fights.
You can go anywhere from Vandheer Lorde (since Lone Warrior would be a stomp due to his type 8), to Rakudai characters like Ouma Kurogane or even Kurono Shinguuji. etc

Then maybe people from Rakudai are good here.
Maybe Kurono Shinguuji or Stella Vermillio. If ya need anyone stronger go for Ikki Kurogane or Amane Shinomiya but they might stomp.

No offense, but those all look like stomps one way or the other, depending on which key is used. Also Stella Vermillio's profile confuses me, the profile is divided into 3 keys but the tiers are divided into 2, how come?

Vandheer Lorde is your best bet though. He has his Dura neg for the AP difference and Ress neg for the resurrection (ress neg that prevents resurrection from a low 2-C being, but that's besides the point).

Right, something to note about Phoenix (Tales of Berseria) is that he is completely invisible and intangible to those who have low resonance, a spiritual potential of sorts, that might need to be taken into account.

Varies by the verse. I know nothing about Armed with Wings so I couldn't say if it would apply there.
