Dragon Ball Super Discussion Thread 100

Wasn't that the speed of the ship during the Broly Movie? More than a decade has elapsed since the ginuy thing. We can't assume speed is the same.
 
the feat is flawed either way because it’d mean they got also perception blitzed by Guldo who can’t measure up to Saiyan Saga Characters in PL = Speed/AP, unless you wanna suggest off screen timestop, which also doesn’t work because Guldo is shown to have pathetically low stamina when he uses it so it’s a hard reach to suggest he used it to keep pace with the rest of the Ginyu force.

Ginyu blitzed Krillin and Gohan over a short distance relative to the ship.

Krillin and Vegeta could sense Ginyu's ship over a fairly large distance, thus he had a much bigger timeframe to perceive their Ki, as their ki sensing has a huge range, much helped by Ginyu's huge ki.

Also when ships get close to the planet, they take some minutes to get to them, probably due to deceleration for landing.

Yeah we learned a lot about some of the big name Funimation DB VA's back when the Vic situation was hot. One of the VA's, I think for Bulma (?), was accusing Vic of sexual harassment or something, and some other people came up and said it too (none of the allegations were ever proven and he is generally considered completely innocent). When the allegations came out, several VA's including Sean and Chris Sabat all jumped in on the situation to throw Vic under the bus for some quick PR. That's when other people who defended Vic started bringing out some real allegations about these two VA titans.

Sean is just a ******** who has no problem throwing colleagues under the bus when it benefits him or throwing around slurs and whatnot. He even said that he hates DBZ Abridged because of what it does to the "image" of the characters or some nonsense like that (clearly his ego has really gotten huge from playing Goku). I remember a panel where Sean and Masako were together and tbh it looked to me like Masako really didn't like him that much.

Chris Sabat on the other hand has a whole slew of problems. The one I remember is when a very popular anime YouTuber who has an eye condition was at a convention and tried to meet Chris in person. Chris told his security to not only keep the guy away from him, but even called him a freak (because of his eye problem).

Funimation itself is really not a great company, they've done TONS of really shady and scummy shit, and, maybe it's just me, but a lot of the anime that they've dubbed has some really questionable voices for certain characters of certain races, but again, maybe that's just me. I also feel like English dubs used to be a lot better back in the day, but that could be nostalgia.

DBZ Kakarot's next DLC will be end of Z where Goku fights against Uub, it's pretty interesting that Goku in Kakarot experienced Battle Of Gods and Revival of Frieza so Goku's got to be insanely strong after so much time has passed

And people were out here complaining about the semi realistic art style lol. This is probably as close to the anime design wise that any DB game has gotten. I’d love if they had like a what if mode similar to the raging blast games.
 
I thought the characters they "revealed" in this first trailer were a terrible idea.

It's basically Goku and Vegeta + Z Warriors + The 3 big villains from DBZ + a few from the super.

They should have shown more variety initially. Half of what they showed that will be in the game is goku and vegeta. Of course, it's expected that there would be many, but I didn't think it was a good idea to show this in a trailer.
 
 
To be honest, for the general public it was probably a mistake to reveal so many Gokus and Vegetas at the same time due to the fact that most people who are new to this whole thing don't really get that this is how it is...

But honestly it got me hyped regardless.
