That's been my experience so far.
Invincible verse in powerscaling is difficult because it's a verse where the authors tried to sound all scientific for immersion but when you actually think about it for 2 seconds it makes no sense in real world application. The Smart Atoms thing being the most egregious of all. And because they try to actually incorporate some physics jargon into the mix it makes the actual feats and statements a lot harder to estimate. Most verses are very upfront about feats.
"So-and-so can destroy a planet because he big strong"-Normal verse.
"Well uhm so-and-so uses the combined acceleration of speeds exceeding the light barrier and uh random McGuffin power physics thing to uh destabilize the core of the planet and explode it via a chain reaction!!
