This is Hyrule Warriors, where all items exist solely for combat. There are no "dungeons." Furthermore, the Gauntlets are paired with the Ball and Chain (or perhaps the Chain Chomp) in HW, which has never been done in the main series. Given that the most impressive main-series Link feat that we actually see (that he actually does, not someone he scales to) was done with the Gauntlets, it's really not that farfetched.

It's still the same universe with mostly unchanged background lore. Hell, even in-gmae the Master Sword is superior. I really fail to see where you're going with this.

So this flipping the planet feat is great and all...

But how come basic grunts and emey's still survive it then?

It's not that complicated, Perpetual. The Gauntlets have a (highly questionably) planet-level feat. The Master Sword has literally no feats that come anywhere near that, at all, even though it had plenty of cutscenes to do it in. Ergo, Gauntlets > Master Sword.

How come water dosen't fall from a bucket when swinged over your head? One word Gravity
The force of impact when Link comes back down should kill all the enemy's in it's radius...and it doesnt.

Because of Gravity and Physics, Goku and Beerus produced a Multi-Galaxy level punch very close to earth, and yet earth wasn't deystroyed.....
