, if you try and copy an Ultimate Stand or try to get two or more Stands and you're NOT Kars (This is made blatantly explicit, even if you're identical to Kars and have his powers still, Dio wasn't an exception), you die and explode into itty bitty bloody chunks of sinew and gore and stay like that, your body trying to accommodate multiple Stands, even if you can regenerate, your body doesn't know how to deal with it so it stays apart. Kars actually did this against Dio himself to blow him to pieces and Dio couldn't regenerate from it due to the mechanics of the Stands even though this Dio can come back from shit like vapor so fast and so easily that he can reform and throw a punch in the time it took someone else who vaped him with a punch to finishing pulling back his hand. Dio did cheat the system a bit and has two Stands, but that's because he's technically two different people, The World is his, the passion is Jonathan's. Also I'm not so sure that would work, almost all of Dio's powers, except The World, aren't his own, they're Jonathan's and it was even pointed out when he lost that body that Jonathan's body is what he made Ultimate, he's just puppeting his body, Jonathan's mind and conscious are in a jar in like 1920 37 universes ago so have fun mind reading that.
