The model quality looks up to snuff with the actual game, and I don't think people would fake Neptunemon being available of all Digimon. If it was a fake, I'd guess they'd go for a more shocking, surprising and well known Digimon, like Zeed or Armageddemon.

Likely that's because that was the age they entered the Digital World. There are likely old people in the DW as it is a civilization in which humans and Digimon live in harmony and there are entire cities. But we just see the young ones for whatever reason. Or fo all we know, it's a city full of teens and young adults.

Limited artstyle and unremarkable pixel art hindered that aspect of the game. A lot of the pixel art tricks to make characters look older were also absent, like giving older characters more realistic hair colors while younger characters usually have vibrant hair. They also generally lacked facial hair or other marks that indicated age, like scars, wrinkles or facial hair.

I still like to picture the setting of the game to be like this "Digi-Punk" Kids Next Door crossover.

I could've sworn it was just the result of a shitty art style, seeing that, for example, in Reigitize you can clearly see that you have one 24-year-old in a cast of 14-year-old characters.

Reigitize also used fairly high quality 3-D models while DS was using below average Sprite Art. Additionally, the 3/4ths angle of the game made the perspective on sizing a little off.

Makes the game run at much faster speeds, varies on how good your computer is. My old computer ran it at x300 speed.

It's 2017, man, why are you using NO$GBA? I don't think it has the feature, DeSmuMe does, though.

I like how Angela Anaconda is most well know for her role in the Digimon movie when she had her own series that lasted I think two seasons, and was a spin off of KaBlam!, which is legitimately one of the best skit shows I've ever watched.

I watched all of my Digimon up to XROS Wars dubbed. Bite me.

Yes, it's lacking in feats compared the original Japanese subs, but it's so cringey-y and charming at the same time that I can't help but watch it.

I'm dying laughing right now XD. Sometimes I forget we grew up with nineties dubbing, with FUNI and subs being around. I miss things like rubber knives, invisible guns, mon raps, downright idiotic Serena...I mean Usagi...I mean Sailor Moon, valley girl Asuka, and entire episodes being lost (Ash gets threatened by a shotgun when?)

I just love how gosh darn 90s that movie is, ya know? Like, thinking about it had me cheezin, even at 11:30 at night. Like, it plays All-Star...before Shrek did (I think). And had the Digirap. I will legit pay you guys to do it.

90s to early 2000s dubs may have been...rough, but they had so much personality and charm to them. I've been watching a lot of the original Yugioh anime (Not Season Zero) and the deliveries are just...great. You know, with all the censorship that anime had, I'm surprised they kept in the scene where Kaiba was going to commit suicide if he lost a card game...

I legitimately love the Digimon dubs just as much as the subs. The voice acting can be stilted, but for the most part it's good enough and the actors really grow into their roles. Joshua Seth is Tai. Jeff Nimoy is Tentomon. Tom Fahn is Agumon. By the time the movies rolled around, they mastered their roles and were on par with the sub actors in my opinion.

I actually really love Digimon dubs. Although by Next 0rder some things bothered me. Hearing Guilmon have that deep ass voice bothered me. And hearing MachineDRAmon as opposed to Machinedramon.... bothered me as well...
