To summarize it in proper manner, PoC is basically an alternate timeline in the main cosmology where the only difference is Pluto, the first Demon God who's concept also exists in main story never died and was, infact, sealed by Matilda here and the reason why Vergil is seen in the main story because instead of coming face-to-face with Mundus, he met with Pluto instead.

Hence why they labeled it as canon and non-canon at the same time and told us to find out why it is labeled like that after playing the game. But lemme put it in simple terms:

• Canon: Takes place in the same multiverse.
• Non-canon: Is considered a parallel timeline (like that alternate universe from DMC novels) and thus, doesn't follow the main continuity.

There was also a video explaining it but unfortunately, the video was put into privacy and we lost access to it but it was same as this Q/A reasoning here.

Pretty much. It's just an alternate timeline that has consistency to main story but with slight gimmicks and info drops thrown here and there to expand the world building.

One thing is better for us is that it was on-point stated that Capcom and Itsuno are working heavily over the game from 1.0 version and they are pretty satisfied with the research here.

Well, 2-A DMC has been accepted, but I don't like it so I'm removing it. Can't wait for someone to use this out of context to claim I'm just biased. To make a long story short, 2-A was accepted in this thread on the basis of the Demon World allegedly being infinite relative to a Low 2-C...

I assume its due to the Beastheads not being in a range of power that puts them above these characters, the characters whom are below god tiers but above others are in that range

What i meant above was that beastheads are in the range of characters above others, but below god tiers which those you mentioned should be at, iirc dmc3 twins are only beatable by god tiers and so are mundus generals and so on, the profile says he is one of Mundus from the alternate timeline demons

PoC has main story which is canon to storyline which happened after DMC 3, while you have S limited character who had their own story
