Devil May Cry Discussion Thread 9

Vergil only used the spatial manipulation with Judgment Cut End in the battle, as we can see the very space around him getting crushed apart, as for the other attacks are just regular stab or cut wound IMHO, Yamato wont automatically cut the space with just regular slash.
 
I hate to bring this up again, but I actually think that Nero recieving no damage from Yamato is intended to point towards Nero being stronger than Vergil at the moment.
 
Of course, I slack off just a little and Dante **** up everything =__=

The whole fight is way easier than Dante fight and that was made on purpose. Pretty sure the fight was just Nero destroying Vergil, regardless whatever he was weakened or not.

The Sid Abigail High 6-A feat was actually 7-A and they are currently scaled to Urizen feat.
 
I think mundus would we do see his body fall apart along with his shell at the end of his first fight with Dante.

And when Vergil's regen was weakened he was still able to regenerate from getting disembowelled
 
Mundus teleported away after being defeated, then when he reappered he had his shell crumbling and ended up being sealed in his original appearance.

Doesn't justify that regen, only the one he has currently.

actually...i just noticed smth in DMC 3. Didn't vergil get completely sliced off or smth? In the cutscene you see Dante slicing through vergil's stomach and we clearly see blood but he was only going down not sliced up. Idk...
 
Jeez first Dante owns Vergil and destroys him by using his hairstyle, then Nero kicks his ass brutally and becomes obssesed with power like him and then he's absorbed into V

Poor guy can't catch a break
 
It isn't labled anywhere on the profile that he can resist it with Royal Guard, is this something that is clarified in vs match ups rather than labeled on the profile?
 
Is it possible to use a composite Nero in VS matches? (Esentially DMC5 Nero but he retains Yamato)

Why is that? He still retains every ability he has absorbing shit from 4, he still has his abilities from when he had Yamato, we know Nero can absorb things and with Maximum Bet you can see a glass shattering effect when he does the slash showing some sort of fuckery with reality is going on.I don't see why he doesn't have durability negation.
 
So uh...I've thinking of making a match with Nero, but give how my last and only match went I gotta ask

What is considered a stomp?
 
A match where one of the fighters gets completely destroyed without a fight, in most cases one of the fighters doesn't have a win condition, or they have a way lower AP/speed.
 
I usually don't count speed because 9 times outta 10 it's equalized so it doesn't matter

The problem here is that the guy i'm pitting him against has probably better AP (plus has an attack that deals damage bigger than his AP) and Mid-High Regenerationn so RIP Nero I guess
 
Can we rename the "DT" section of Nero as '''Yamato DT''' for 4 and '''True DT''' for 5? Even the game says this is Nero true power and demon form without the influence of his dad sword
