According to the KE page rules the destruction feat takes priority over it's KE :

  • There is a destruction/AP calculation contradicting a kinetic energy calculation. The destruction/AP calculation would take priority over the kinetic energy calculation in this case as the AP calculation would be a better proof in regards to how much damage he/she is capable of in an attack.
    • For example, if a character launches a 200kg metal ball against a common wall at Mach 300, but the wall remains largely undamaged, the energy required to cause the minor damage on the wall would take priority over the kinetic energy derived from speed in this case.

If the results of the destruction is High 6-A then the 5-B KE doesn't matter
And yet every complete Planet explosion would get up to Dwarf Star, while moon explosions get up to Large Planet. Both of these times are the result from KE which has been accepted, so I don’t see why moving the Earth’s surface via KE would violate this.

I made this calc once in for KE, given that the debris don't leave the center of the planet at the same time, so I made the average size and speed of them.
Is this fine btw, if you accept 100% planetary destruction?

I mean, most of these statements can also be explained by the surface-destroying interpretation. "The world" can simply refer to the Earth as we know it, or human society - for instance, even if it was just the surface that was blown up, there still wouldn't be a world to dominate since (nearly) all life would have been wiped out. The original scan seems to imply this idea of life-wiping rather than complete planetary annihilation.

Basically what I was saying

I mean, here is literally said but you need a planet to cover the world in magma tho.

Yeah, the vast majority of the planet would be destroyed. It's not saying there'd be nothing left to fill with magma. If Earth was damaged to the point where it was a third of its diameter, or 1/27 of its volume, then it'd be hard to still consider that a planet.

Also I don't think using the scan which shows a lack of full planetary destruction is ok to calc, well, full planetary destruction and the KE that comes of it. You can't have your cake and eat it.

It's not even a solid object at the center, there are still some "voids" to support this.

There's clearly something in the centre though, the "explosion" lines don't come from a point, they come from a circle around the centre. Not to mention the image just below.

Issue is that even those circles aren't complete, they still have that big void, which leads at the planet getting totally destroyed.

You are again literally still ignoring this :

And NO it's not an other Planet

Prove it lmfao.
They were talking about planet earth during the entire shit....why would they show us the image of an other planet for absolutely no reason ? It's pretty much clear that the sphere is Earth itself, there are already 3 people that are against your headcanon and you're still insisting

Honestly? I'm leaning to agree with Gohan on this one, ngl.

Then again, stopped reading the manga around B&W, so am not sufficiently informed.

I am in agreement with the simple fact that the currently accepted calc should be left alone and we should not try any of the above mentioned suggestions, neither the 5-A one nor the high 6-A one.
Either one is wrong in my eyes.
One ignores an entire panel while the other ignores that a ball of liquid magma could take more damage than a layer of rock.

Overall the entire thread needs to be closed and forgotten.
