Hello everyone. While the forum has moved, we're still discussing the accuracy of Death Battle. For now, we'll stick with the episodes we have already analyzed. Once Season 7 ends, we'll fix it up again.
Rules:
- This list is purely for the accuracy of the DB research. Video or animation quality does not play a factor (although animation quality will be commented on for fun)
- Even if the fight is a stomp, if it's accurate, it will get a higher rating
- Joke Battles are placed at the bottom due to their non-serious nature. (Smokey VS McGruff is not a joke battle)

-Because of revelations from the research team for DB, all battles are to be considered as if the strongest forms of each fighter are used immediately. Because of this, certain battles have different results then when it starts at base. For these battles, the forms used will be placed alongside the fight for clarity.

Cable vs Booster Gold (Post-Crisis) (Full-Potential Cable vs Booster) | Reason: While Cable was undersold, it’s clearly shown that neither combatant can physically hurt each other, Cable can’t hax Booster, and the only way he can beat Cable is with a shield crush like they showed. | Animation: 9/10
37. Wario vs King Dedede (Wario-Man vs King Dedede) | Reason: Even if Wario is composited, Dedede is much faster and has the hax to overpower Wario’s. | Animation: 9/10

Johnny Cage vs Captain Falcon (MK11 Johnny vs Anime Falcon) | Reason: While Johnny is technically faster than on-foot Falcon when accessing Inner Power, that power is Elder God Kryptonite and doesn’t translate to other combatants, making Falcon physically stronger and much faster once he’s in the Blue Falcon. | Animation: 8/10
39. Doctor Strange vs Doctor Fate (Dr. Strange vs Fused Fate) | Reason: While the two would be equally matched in base forms, Fused Fate is much faster and far more powerful than anything Strange has faced or has access to. | Animation: 9.5/10 (HOLY SHIT AWARD)

55. The Shredder vs Silver Samurai (Composite Human Super Shredder vs SS) | Reason: Because of the composite nature of Shredder, his 80s speed and ninja training allows him to make the lethal blow necessary to put down Silver. | Animation: 8/10
56. Ivy Valentine vs Black Orchid | Reason: The power and speed gap, plus Orchid’s style being explicitly designed for opponents like Ivy, allowed Orchid to easily snatch a victory here. | Animation: 8/10
57. Pokémon vs Digimon (aka Red & Mega Charizard X vs Tai Yagami & WarGreymon) | Even if it wasn’t Tai’s specific Digimon, the speed and power gap between them and Charizard is way too big for him to stand a chance. | Animation: 9/10
58. Dante vs Bayonetta (DMC4 Devil Trigger Dante vs Bayonetta) | Reason: While Bayonetta is much faster than Dante and has comparable hax, Dante’s gargantuan strength and stamina would allow him to outlast Bayonetta until he can slap her into red mist. | Animation: 9.5/10
