professor X is a far more powerful telepath his mental ablities are much more hax he can compeletly shut down the minds of others, kill people or knock them unconscious with psionic blasts, manipulate their thoughs and memories, cast illusions, travel to the astral plane and more.While vader may know several mental tricks sith telepathy is not in the same league as an omega level telepath from marvel.
