No. You tries to ping them. Only staff can ping and you are not a staff member. You have to go to their profiles and ask them to come on their walls. Plus this

I mean, as already stated, Ultima and co are already working on a revision for the entire series (I know cause I'm part of that server), so I don't really see the point of this.

I think it is the best the OP asks the people working on it, if this does not concide with their own revision.
Also I should add even if someone else is already working on it, another person may create a thread if they have enough proof of what they want, it is not exactly wrong. So it all depends on the OP.
