Been wondering for a while... why don't the Bearer of the Curse and Ashen One have soul absorption? It's kinda a key element of their gameplay and lore that they absorb souls to grow stronger. The Chosen Undead already has it. And even if argued that only the Chosen Undead can actually use them to grow stronger himself (e.g. by leveling up at the bonfire when the others needed the emerald herald and fire keeper), they can still absorb and hold those souls.

The Bearer of the Curse, and Ashen One should all have "Soul Absorption (can absorb the souls of defeated enemies)" added to their powers and abilities.

That's the issue.

It's not, despite being one of their most defining features

Or at least Bearer of the Curse and Ashen One don't have it. Chosen Undead does.

I think its there as the soul manip, but yeah specifically listing it as soul absorption should definitely be there. That, alongside the resurrection, is literally the defining characteristic of dark souls PCs.
