Mewtwo is pissed that he lost to Samus and tries to make amends by destroying her dark counterpart. Dark Samus is just a d***, and wants to kill Mewtwo just because. Both are completely bloodlusted, and is willing to use whatever's in their arsenal that'll take the other down.

Good enough, good enough, regen, good, depends.

Assuming he gets off the right thing before getting frozen

Not gonna lie, I don't buy that stellar AoE... I've played a handful of Metroid games, and the Ice Beam doesn't work like that 99% of the time.

This is going to be good

That's not what the AoE fallacy is. If anything, it's the opposite. The AoE fallacy is saying that because none of Goku's blasts destroyed a planet, then he can't destroy a planet, nor can his blasts encompass a planet. This one is saying that because Samus froze a sun once, all of her shots have stellar AoE.

If she's attempting to encompass that range, then I guess she can do it, but not her casual shots at all.

Nonetheless, she's Bloodlusted, so it doesn't matter.

Samus's stellar AoE comes from Samus & Joey; smaller beam is limitations due to game mechanics or the fact that higher gravity environments make explosions and blasts G^2 times smaller despite having the same energy or TNT input. 960^2 times smaller in this case. It's also just like how Superman's Heat Vision can be large enough to vaporize a planet or small enough to vaporize just a single cell.

Also, DS has Soul, Mind, Bio, and Tech manip, Reality Warping, Low-Godly regen, resistance to all of the manip abilities I mentioned, and Spacial Intangibility. Plus she's far above baseline Planet level. Going with DS for reasons I mentioned.

Cal are you tryin to sign Mewtwo's death warrant? Cause that's what you're doing by putting him against DS considering she's resistant to Mewtwo's more potent hax and the fact that Mewtwo's gonna get Mindscrewed by trying to use his precognition abilities on her.
