Derek realizes that a lot of bullying is going on between the monsters of Puzzle and Dragons, and tries to step in to put a stop to it, and believes the culpriate to be the 'Baddie'. I mean it's in the name, and it's all evil looking, and all groucy, it HAS the be the bully...right?

It doesn't work, that's how...

Death power in PAD is so neutered it's basically a reflavored dark attack. It can be one of the 'elements' used in an energy blast, but in universe if you're exposed to death long enough you just drop dead...eventually.

The only problem is, the impact of a 'Death' attack does damage just like a dark attack, so almost everything dies from being hit rather than the Death Manip actually activating. There's only two times in my memory the Death Manips have ever been combat applicable in-universe.

So unless its a stonewall fight, the Death Manip is almost always irrelevant, just pretend it's a dark energy blast.

I see fights like that posted off and on quite a bit, with guns making the differance of it being fair or not.

If it can't be added...honestly, that's fine. But I was under the impression that these situations have been 'fair' in the past thanks to having a gun.
