Was the location they fight always Amperture Labs, I don't remember that being the case (it says that in the op but I don't remember that). That, however, only works against Chell because now she has nowhere to portal the Cake, the only reason she could see the moon was because the building was falling apart. Now she's stuck in an inclosed space with it.

Wait, how did Aperture even use the portal gun before they discovered moon rocks worked so well on it? Because Cave Johnson at one point says "turns out they're a great portal conductor" in reference to the ground up moon rock gel.

sorry I was just trying to refute the argument of it only working on moon rocks. I've played through Portal 2 countless times and I've never heard mention of it so I just wanted to clear that up.
