Cole MacGrath vs Magneto

I'm pretty sure this is an unfair fight since cole can do so much more than Magneto that unless Cole is covered or made out of metal, Magneto can't do anything to him, or at least harm him.

Magneto has shields that can stop a speeding Quicksilver and can rip apart the surrounding area to create ammo for him to against Cole. With the distance between them and speed equalized, it's a pretty fair game.

It would, except for the fact that cole can reflect any projectiles with his shockwave, absorb any electricity Magneto creates (which heals him on top of gaining more ammo for his lightning), negate durability in more than one way, manipulate gravity to screw with Magneto's flight, and can tell if Magneto would harm him or not. And even if Magneto just tries to get up close and personal, Cole has more H2H combat than Magneto has ever shown, and will eventually ionic drain him, or incapacitate him easily.

Cole's shockwaves eat up energy if spammed, his durability negations requires physical contact, antigravity can be countered by flight and Cole can only use Ionic drain in inFAMOUS 2.

I meant the drain he does to a single individual. And Magneto can create electricity, which is Cole's fuel.

Yeah, bioleech requires physical contact. And Magneto should be smart enough to realize that flinging lightning at Cole is just gonna make him stronger, and resort to other tactics.

His precog is only helpful in that it helps differentiate friend from foe, that's it. Him knowing that Magneto is hostile towards him isn't gonna help him dodge all his attacks.

And Magneto can attack from numerous directions. Cole can only aim in one direction (though he has omnidirectional attacks)

Well given the version of Magneto you're using, Apocalypse already stated he had the power to move the entire earth , and given the feat where he reverses battleship artillery over several kilometers, I don't see why not.

He can also use metal in the surrounding area to basically turn Cole into a metal coffin. This is NYC at that, Magneto has too many options to work with for Cole to win here.

Cole has flight that can counter gravity manipulation, and can screw with magnetic fields around himself. Both require extremely different levels of fine tuning and control.

Cole himself has a knack for electromagnetism, and can realsease an aura of electricity that can bust metal easily.

Magneto gets shocked to the point of burning his bones.

Magnetism can't be used directly as a projectile unlike Cole, and being that Magneto wears armor, electricity will hit his entire body in contact.

Voting Cole

1. Magneto's powers have nothing to do with Gravity, and is that implying that Cole's magnetism manipulation > Erik's?

2. Since we're using Erik who destroyed Auschwitz, he doesn't have metal armor.

His electrostatic thrusters should help keep him from getting flung into space.

His electricity still basically conducts through the whole body. It's how he causes heart attacks and paralysis.

1. Never mentioned Gravity at all, I was just stating that Cole's projectiles give him the range advantage.

2. Monkey ninja'd me

How is Cole using thrusters while he's being blood bended? Magneto still attacks faster, since he can use his mind to use his abilities.

In X-Men First Class, though it can be argued that the people he moved had some type of metal on them, and in this case Infamous 1 Cole has lots of metal on him. Plus given the environment of the battle, he might as well be in a scrapyard.

Except the only metal object on inFAMOUS 1 Cole is he cell phone, which can easily be discarded. The amp only comes in during the second game.

And in the scene, Magneto specifically states that there was too much iron in the guards blood, meaning that this wasn't a feat he could perform had the guard had normal iron levels in his blood. Basically, Mystique made sure the dude got an extra dose of iron so that Mags could escape Strykers prison.

And again, Cole can counter with his own electromagnetic abilities, shockwaves, shields, and lighting attacks that can destroy metal.

1. Except he wouldn't be discarding it, because per SBA, he would have no knowledge, therefore he would have no reason to. That's not the only piece of metal that's visibly on him either.

2. I said X-Men first class, not X-men 2. See here , then go to the beginning. Also what he can do with metal on the perso .

3. He can manipulate electricity too, and Cole's abilities take longer to activate than Magneto's. He has a shield too.

1. He can sense electromagnetic phenomena, so when he notices that there's a correlation between his phone and him getting flung around, he's gonna act.

2. There was clearly metal on their uniforms, and wolverine has a metal skeleton and had iron rods jabbing out of him. The only noticeable metal on Coles person is his phone and maybe a few clips on his backpack, which he can easily drop once he senses a disturbance in the magnetic field. And again, can counter Magento trying to fling him with his thrusters or his own electromagnetic fields

3. Cole only has to think it and suddenly a massive aura of electricity can burst out of his body. His lighting storm has shown to overpower fields and overheat whatever area he's in.

Cole is less blood and more electricity to be honest at this point. Being conduits of electricity, look at conduits in the newest game. They never bleed. And no they do not take that long to activate. Cole can literally spam rockets while draining electricity or handling something else.

That said Cole really is popular from the Infamous huh. Why not try other characters PTS?

Ehh, not so sure on the energy being part. Cole clearly has blood, as shown by the bloodsplurts that come out of his body when he is shot.

Mostly because they never get noticed

Wolverine didn't had an adamantiun skeleton by that moment (Didn't you saw DoFP?). And Erik would only need the metal on Cole's belt to smack him like a doll.

Ehh, the last three X-Men movies are kinda blurry to me, bound to forget something.

Also, no conformation that Cole is wearing a belt. See above posts about how Cole can counter magnetism.
