Cognito Ergo Sum: Falling Action (Game Thread 2)

"Mmmh, it seems the city is surronded by space-time anomalies."

Sieg comments, as he then summons the Muramasa in righ left hand, runs towards the "bondary" of the pocket of distorted reality and tries to use his spacial rending katana to cut right trought it.

Meretrix tries to indentify if there are living people in the city, while also trying to search for the origin of the annomalies

"Maybe we could try to stabalize it with our magicules?"

Sieg's attack causes one of the pockets, as well as the one that everyone is within, to split in two. However, this merely jostles the rest around, causing there to be overall less space that isn't affected by the pockets. Secundus and John are, however, able to force open a path wide enough for everyone to walk through without real issue.

Meretrix determines that the pockets are defensive in nature. She also finds that the surrounding area is absolutely chock full of invisible mines, even in the air and underground, with scarcely a cubic meter of space unoccupied. [all int 4 people sudden feel extreme danger nearby]

"Hold up. We've got company." Jakovich went ahead and cast a spell in a wide arc, to boost the speed and the perceptiveness of those around him, the magicules embedding themselves and artificially raising their abilities. He really, really did not want to fight anymore right now- it was getting grindingly repetitive and Jakovich was really ******* tired at this point.

But hey, at least he could use his awesome powers?

Abarim let everyone else take care of the spacial distortions, sitting quietly and oblivious to anything being wrong until Jakovich mentions as much.

Upon feeling extreme danger, Meretrix summons her defensive barriers to everyone once again.

"Jakovich is right, i don't know what is as of now, but i'll try to indentify the threat"

Meretrix says as she scans for another mind in the area while prepares Mind Based attacks on her hands, making small purple orbs appear on her hands.

"Oh, i almost forgot, don't leave this area if possible, we are surrounded by invisible mines, who are even in the air and underground, so be carefull with it."

Meretrix says as she links everyone minds to her own, making the location of the bombs visible to everyone

"Invisible mines? Why do I feel a bit plagiarized?", I murmur to then detect the mines and teleport them several kilometers above the city.

"Well... i would have tried to use them in the incoming conflict, but i guess that taking them out of the battlefield is also a nice strategy John, no risk of bumping into them"

... space-cutting sword that does nothing and eye of not seeing shit, dammit.

Sieg thinks angry, as he waits for the psychic people to clear the field.

Solomon just watches the others work

Invisible mines are a pretty good defense, whoever set them up is pretty smart.

Meretrix doesn't find any minds outside of those of the party. John's teleportation succeeds, but the mines immediately disappear after being moved.
