Every so often, a series will introduce a character whose mere presence is enough to cause any (and in some cases, every) other person in their setting to tremble in fear. Often due to an in-series reputation centered around the things they've done and/or are capable of doing, these characters stand out due to just how much of an effect their presence has on those who run into them.

Post characters who fit this description below. Feel free to go into detail, if you want.

Pariah Dark from Danny Phantom.

He is literally the most feared ghost in Danny Phantom. So much so he literally made all the ghosts in the Ghost Zone flee in terror to another dimension! when they realized he was released from the sarcophagus and he wasn't even at full power. No other ghost in the series could or has caused that kind of fear.

Aizen

Any Beast or one of the 27DAA in the Nasuverse

Acno and Zeref

Darkseid

Thanos

Tai Lung in KFP

Vilgax

The Beast in B&tB

Frankenstein

Dracula

Quite a few in Pokemon, but I'll start with Gengar.

Scientists use one of their Pokedex entries to essentially say "If you encounter this Pokemon, you're already dead. Give up."

Another one says that even your home isn't safe and it'll get you even in there.

Actually mysterious and implied of being very powerful beings are kind of a special case, as the protagonists may not fear them or know of their existence at all, but the audience itself gets massive respect and even fear of them. They may not qualify here, sadly.

Sauron (guy May play second fiddle to Margot's but the dude was feared by practically everyone in the Third Age including Gabdalf)

Alicia Melchiott in base because OP scout is OP

Every Valkyria in Valkyria Chronicles would fit the description to a degree, as they are pretty much "Do not engage unless you have a death wish" sort of opponents for literally anyone excluding another Valkyria (There is a reason if there are religions considering them goddesses), but Selvaria is definitely the best example of that.

First of all, because the Gallians don't have another Valkyria that they can throw at Selvaria until the battle of Naggiar (which happens near the end of the conflict) which means that she is pretty much able to crush any opponent whenever she is using her powers.

And the other reason is that even without her powers, Selvaria is still an exceptional commander who has literally never lost a battle, and even when she lost at Ghirlandaio, she managed to kill the majority of the Gallian Army a few hours later using a suicide attack.
