Carl Johnson and his sniper rifle capable of reaching a distance of 384,400 km makes no sense

When I saw Carl Johnso profile I found this


Range: Standard melee range normally. About hundreds of meters with a rocket launcher. Approximately 384,400 KM with his sniper rifle which is doable via normal gameplay.


Seriously, this makes no sense. Looks like something that could easily fit on Joke Battles Wikia . This is just an easter egg that Rockstar Games possibly added to the game as a joke purpose. Easter Eggs, cheats and glitches are just Game Mechanics. There's no canon statement in the game that confirms that the sniper rifle can reach the moon instantly, and it would be a massive outlier to the actual series.

I think that we should replace the actual range to this one:


Range: Standard melee range normally. Dozens of meters with firearms. About hundreds of meters with a rocket launcher.
