Cannibalized Worm: Alpha RP Thread 2

Legion powerhubs kingmaker and gives Varielle mountain. Dr. Nucleus stops her Bulllet helling and steps into a wall. Varielle stands stock still. summons a steel fence around them. To stop the blasts from hitting them. "Australia then." Legion replies "Not right now. Let's hope we can convince these people we aren't a threat and follow the group."

It seems to be a brothel. Japanese men are standing at the sides of the room, with clearly visible swords at their sides. One of them walks up to you.

"What are you doing here?"

@Crimson

As you go deeper into the Docks, you see a building with red lights. It is 2:16 AM.

@Paul

As you arrive at the next level, you see an armored figure that seems to be peeking into a room.

@Dargoo

Battery nods.

"This could lead to a gang war. Something like that would result in a lot of causalities."

Assault comes back in from his search.

"It looks like there was either a third accomplice or both the maulings and ice were done by a grabbag cape. Some of these bodies were shot in the head from a distance. A sniper."

@Overlord

As the stick makes contact with the beast, its skin starts bubbling. The creature tries walking forward, but it begins to slowly dissolve into a puddle of red sludge.

@Junko

The normal sized man in a white lab coat ruffles through his hair.

"Man, this has all gone to shit. All of the containment rooms have been breached and the guards I had were killed by you two before I brought you under control."

He stops and glares at the two large men.

"If you hadn't interfered, we would've finished the security systems. Not to mention that other one got away before I could infect him."

The man sighs.

"Now what am I going to do?"

You hear heavy amounts of roars and screams as the breached doors and chambers have resulted in a riot.
 
"I guess my job at the moment is to go into random locations thst may or may not be dangerous in misplaced hopes thst i would find something about my targets... sigh."

I look around the building in search of any suspicious things.
 
Sun Wukong, who had walked up the stairs, cringes as he sees the corpse

"Did you-"

Elizabeth:"It was already here when we arrived."

Joseph isn't bothered by the corpse.

Elizabeth:"I assume you were able to stop that multi-armed being ?"

Sun Wukong:"Melted him in to sludge, he'll be off out tail now"

Joseph:"Considering his healing factor, that will only momentarelly slow him down, we need to get going."

Sun Wukong: Sad monkey noises

Elizabeth: "Right, right, this way."

My team then goes up the stairs to the next floor.
 
Is that person wearing armor? What are they looking into that room for?

"Excuse me do you know where we are?" I ask the armored person hoping they don't attack me.

The "armored figure" turns around and looks at you with scarlet red eye's. Turns out that its not armor, its a robo-awoo. She points her cannon into the room while still looking at Accelerator. Her A.T.S. activates and she makes the perfect shot at the normal looking person in the room.
 
"When we investigated the Merchants massacre, there was evidence of a ranged sniper. Not saying there can't be two snipers in the same city, but I don't remember seeing anyone with a rifle when we fought those vigilantes."

Wind was still slightly worried though. It seemed like the area was cleared out, and she didn't see anyone around from the air, but what if that sniper was still here?

"Best hope we have is these capes not being careful. Any trails of blood, footprints we can follow once support shows up?"

I jump back slightly in response to the shot that it just fired into the room.

What is it shooting at

I put my hands up and hope it doesn't shoot me too while I slowly approach to see what is in the room it just shot into

"Hey don't shoot me I just want to see what you are shooting in that room." I say realizing what a stupid idea this is
 
"Well It appears we need to be off.l, but first there's humans here. Let's see If my clones and I can't get some fresh faces. Varielle Give me and my clones blink." Legion replied.

Varielle does so trying to create metal doors to help her and Dr. Nucleus be protected from the riot, and creating a picture of Sydney, Australia. Using her powersight whenever she sees someone to see if they have powers.

Dr. Nucleus prepares to use her abilities of telepathy to help her identify anyone that gets past.

Legion and his two clones once getting blink blink by line of sight to nearby people and body swap with them. Once they do so they'll blink back to Where Varielle and Dr. Nucleus are holed up.

"So you're from the police? I don't see a badge."

@Crimson

You see a back entrance but you don't find anything else outside of the building.

@Overlord

As the group goes up to the next level, they see Paul trying to talk to an armored figure.

As you fire, the three of them turn around to see the blast coming towards them. The man looks pissed.

"And you lead someone here?! Is that...that's the new suit we were developing!"

He kicks the damaged guy you fought a few seconds ago into the way of the blast so he gets knocked down. As the normal man backs up he gestures to the other large man.

"Well, take care of it!"

The large man nods and runs at you.

@Dargoo

Battery nods.

"Then it's highly likely that it was the same person. There hasn't been any sniper activity in Brockton recently."

Assault gives his input.

"As for the maulings, I think we're safe on that one. Apparently the guy walked straight into the cellblock earlier."

[Shouldn't you be doing this more step by step? You don't know what's happening outside because you haven't looked, you don't know whom of the people outside (assuming there are people outside) have powers, and that they have bodies you would want over your own. This line of actions imply that you look outside, grab the first bodies you see, and teleport back in.]
 
S.R.E.E. aims at everything in the room. "Orbital Laser [Final Extinction Beam]." She fires off an extremely powerful attack.

Wind came close to letting out a nervous laugh, which instead came out as an awkward cough. The bodies and her previous day on the job made humor evaporate almost instantly.

"Huh. That leaves the cryo-cape and the sniper. Was there any reports of an ice-related power during the attempted break... in?"

Wind couldn't really shake off herself why a monster like that would walk straight into one of the most secure buildings in the country. It felt like there could have been some grander plan at play, but at the same time, maybe it's powers interfered with its mind. She was hoping for the latter.

"If that's the case, like Battery said, we might be looking at a trigger event. The ice seems far away from most of the carnage and looks like it was done haphazardly. And if whoever triggered was a member of E88, we're looking at more capes to deal with from them."
 
Elizabeth:"Blake, do me a quick check on that armored figure."

Blake: "Roger"

She then uses Power Sight to check the person's abilities, weaknesses and how they use their powers, togheter with X-Ray Vision to check what's inside the armor.

Joseph waits for the danmaku attack to be over, then approces the person in armor and tries to grapple her

Meanwhile, Sun Wukong and Merlin point their respective weapons at the armored figure

Natalie, who doesn't have a weapon, jjust does an handgun gesture

Varielle points out any cape.

Legion and his clones would respond by body swapping with them provided their powers wouldn't stop them.

The figure waves his hand while running and all of the energy attacks dissipate before even getting close to him. He pauses mid run.

@Dargoo

Assault gives it some thought.

"No, it looks like the cape can only copy powers and change shape. Maybe he mimic'd the powers of an ice cape here? Another one on the Empire's side wouldn't be good."

@Overlord

Blake sees that the figure has engineering, self commanding, energy projection, and machine possession powers. No one is inside of the armor, it's being possessed.

@Crimson

You go inside to see people stuck inside of cages, lined up at the sides of the room. At the end of the room, you see a couple of Japanese men with firearms and swords. One of them notices you and starts walking to you while drawing his sword, shouting angrily in Japanese.

Varielle sees a dying cape on the ground with body modification powers.The rest of the hallway is filled with rampaging animals that have various pieces of metal replacing parts of their bodies.
 
S.R.E.E. jumps away from everyone, landing at the opposite end of the hall. Her eye's go dark and the suit falls to the ground, all the lights in the hallway suddenly turn off. Everyone in the now dark hallway can hear the suit get back up.
 
Why are these buildings just out in the open?!"

I took out the kitchen knife from my bag and, putting my martial arts skills to use, slash at the man's hand that is holding the sword and immediatly after slash at his throat.

Whatever these people are doing here, it must be bad news. Maybe they are selling humans. I'll worry about that later.

Wind added, "Either way, we should have some of the investigation team look around nearby buildings, see where the sniper might have been holed up. We can try to ID the gun from any bullets, and pass the info down the grapevine"

[I plan on heading out to wherever when the authorities show up and take over, whenever that is]
 
I get out of the way of the fighting and push myself against the wall of the hallway

"Is there any reason to attack the robot you guys?"
 
As the robot falled over, Merlin started shooting at it with his his ray-gun.

Blake pulls out a pair of guns. this ones using actual bullets, and starts firing at the Possessed Armor, while also causing an immense number of laser beams to be launched towards it, which also somewhat illuminate the hallway once the lights go out and allow her to continue firing unindered.

Joseph rushes towards the robotic enemy, while staying out of the way of the shots.

Sun Wukong stands his ground, actually just being scared of the sudden shortage of light.

Meanwhile, i and Natalie backstepped a bit, going behind Blake and Sun Wukong, as we two aren't really well fit for combact.

Varielle seeing what was happening tells Legion "There's an injured Cape among the animals right there." She replied,

Legion Replied "I have a plan remove my power of blink for surgery. One of my clones will go in and heal him, as soon as he does So. He'll body swap and afflict it on the closest person if needed My Clone's previois body." Varielle does what is commanded. One of the legion clones hearing this gets close and touches the man to extract the damage he has. Once done he body swaps and applies the injuries to the closest animal or attenpts to. Once done The Clone heads behind the barricade. And They Set up for a fight with the animals. Knowing that the damage might get intense Varielle decides to keep Legion and his clones with surgery. While she asks aloud "Should I keep Dr. Nucleus's powers the same?" Dr. Nucleus replies "No I'll need some better powers Mirror Image, and Stark Winter should do the trick." Dr. Nucleus once she gets the powers wpuld clone herself and start freezing the animals turning then into ice, being aided by her clones. She'll notice Legion and his clones will take advantage of it as well making their own clones and focusong on freezing the animals, with Legion/Clone trying to help the cape survive.
 
"Sure." I start walking to door, but before reaching for the doorknob, I immediately turn around and shoot both Japanese guys in their heads.
 
S.R.E.E. rolls out of the way to avoid the lasers and bullets, the bullets that hit her seem to do no damage at all. "Protocal 5 created." She says automatically. She activates her blade and attempts to stab the incoming man in the throat.
 
Joseph does't even pay attention to the robot's attack and just lauches an haymaker at it's head.

Mellin contiues to provide ranged support with his ray-gun, meanwhile Natalie continues firing lasers at the cybernetic being, but now making them start from behind it.

Meanwhile, Sun Wukong looks in his tinkertech bag, searching for something like an EMP Granade.
 
S.R.E.E. continues to easily dodge everything thrown at her, like something is automatically telling her something is about to hit her beforehand. Her eye's start glowing bright red. "[Scarlet Destiny]." She fires off her attack at everyone in the hallway, lots of the danmaku projectiles suddenly turn into knifes.

You slash his throat successfully and his hands go for it, trying to stem the bleeding. The other men notice and pull an alarm before pulling out their guns.

@Stand

As you walk towards the entrance, alarms start blaring throughout the building. This distracts the men while you shoot them. A door busts open and several more armed men come out.

@Dargoo

Battery shakes her head.

"No, there haven't been any ice capes in Brockton. A Tinker is a valid guess."

Some police cars pull up. Assault nods.

"I called them while searching the bodies. They can take care of IDing the bodies."

@Tota

[What did you mean by one of your clones? You can only make one every once in a while.]

A large man steps out into the hallway. He waves his hand, dissipating all energy constructs in the area. The lights in the hallway turn back on. Joseph's haymaker knocks S.C.R.E.E away from him and Sun finds a spiky ball with a button in his bag.
 
Wind looks back at the bodies as they're being hauled away, and ID'd.

"Nobody here deserved this. We're going to find this sniper, and the holdouts from the warehouse incident."

If there was any holdouts from the earlier storm, Wind clears out the sky gradually as investigators move about.

"I'm thinking of circling around the area one more time before we head back on patrol."
 
I try to grab the Katana from him, after which i take cover and put on my stealth mask. I stay in cover to avoid getting shot, waiting for their next move.
 
[I currently have two active. I said Legiok cloned hinself twice earlier. He can only produce 2 per week, but I felt that usong them now would be for the best due to the inherent danger this day can bring me. Since Legion needs to get close I felt the best person to do such would be one of ny two clones.]

"Uhm, who are you ?"

I ask him.

Natalie looks towards the man

"Whoa, you sure are a big fella."

She comments

Sun Wukong picks up the spiky ball

"Get away from the bot !"

He shouts to Joseph while throwing the thinkertech weapon at the robot.

Joseph steps backwards, increesing his distance from the mechanical enemy.
 
Is that another enemy, and he can just cancel energy stuff too that's not good

I get further away from the big man and the fighting
