They decide to do a bit of power swapping beforehand. Varielle and Dr. Nucleus were both likely to be detected since their faces were the same ones that the kill order was talking about. Legion talked to Varielle and told her to Give nucleus specific powers. The powers Nucleus were giver were Fresh Identity, Presence, and Recordless. When the powers were given they headed inside.

The group finishes their construction after some time passes, Alexandra then removes the Tinker powers from the group.
"Man, that felt great." Robert comments to the group.
"Well, yes, I suppose reinforcing our base should come as a relief to us. Anyways, I am glad that you are feeling fine." Nicholas replies.
The group all sit down on a couch and gaze upon their achievements.
The base would have been fairly well stocked, as the group had always been ones to prepare for any eventuality, including the need to upgrade their security, which they had been planning to do before, but this event spurred them to take security more seriously.
Nicholas would have attempted to increase the durability of the base as well as create automated defense systems and place traps that would activate in the event of an invasion, as well as create mechanized weapons that could fire both inside and outside the base, as well as integrate the work of his friends to protect the base from even other Capes attacking.
Victoria would have attempted to upgrade the detection systems of the base, so that not only can the group observe the situation all around the world, they could also detect any attempt at entry into the base, including those made by Capes possessing Stranger abilities, she would also have attempted to create futuristic combat vehicles, as well as suits of armor for the group.
Robert would have attempted to create robots with the purpose of monitoring and guarding the base from intruders, some of these robots would additionally be integrated within the combat vehicles, while a head system would be created to manage the protection of the base.

Wind twiddles her thumbs as the conversation goes silent for a few minutes. She didn't expect a prompt responce when someone was asked if they had killed someone, although the silence was honestly killing her.
She glared at the beast that had recently emerged from the containment foam. Their blood is on your hands, Wind wanted to say. They were people, with families, and nothing they did justified this.

Gurman hears the man get closer.
"I could've sworn I heard something around here."

You make it to the city. There is a large sign next to the city entrance that reads "Welcome to Monterry!". It is badly damage, with the top right corner being missing and a large line going diagonally down the sign through the words.

Your group comes into the cafe and finds a seat without any notable interactions.

Due to the materials present in the base, the group manages to complete most of the additions. The ones left incomplete are the global detection system, high level entry detection system, vehicles, and armor suits. The former two due to quality material shortages and the latter two due to a lack of enough time.
