Note: Saying Human Path allows the person it's being used on to attempt to pull their soul back yet not be able to touch souls otherwise is Baseless. That's giving the jutsu qualities it is not stated to have. Every instance of Naruto characters interacting with Souls have always been shown using Chakra as a Medium. The databook states physical matter cannot interact with Spirits. This is enhanced by the fact only Chakra has allowed others to interact, and Naruto was cloaked in Chakra when touching his soul.

My stance, considering all instances and implications in the manga regarding this is:

• Naruto characters can See spirits, but only able to interact with them via Chakra as it is able to interact on a spiritual level.

• Naruto/Nagato via his own Soul

Every Instance Of Chakra interacting on a spiritual plane:

• Orochimaru via Edo Tensei

• Kabuto via Edo Tensei

• Hagoromo Summoning Spirits from the After Life.

• Obito teleporting from the inbetween realm spirits go to before the afterlife.

Your last point, It's the depend on the character's chakra's control and comparable feat, in the verse. Choji Akimichi's chakra control not has displayed such level of chakra control to be able to affect souls or intangible beings like Naruto Uzumaki (Part II) did. So by extension, if the characters has demonstrated comparable feats then the answer is yes for that case

Beside, Naruto Uzumaki (Part II) can nullify any just as long not senjustu-based by Sage of Sixth Path Mode. In that case, he can also affect the reaper death seal's incorporeal character.

Thanks that was a really good response but since the only feat of physical interaction here is naruto grabbing his own soul wouldn't it get chucked up as resistance.

And in verse equalization not all soul will have the verse energy(i.e chakra mixed within,which is ussualy the case,how would that work,like can chakra arms grab a soul when equalized with a show like say supernatural(Dean,Sam ring a bell).

Well choji might have been out there,lets say chakra cloak killer bee. If Naruto grabbing his soul is not chucked up as resistance(which I believe) but due to chakra then everyone one able to shroud themselves or an arm in chakra should be able to do it

its not just resistance bro. You can be resistant to abilities by showing other abilities hence what Naruto is doing with chakra


Chakra can grab arms anyway because its spiritual energy in the first place also. It doesnt matter if verse equalization is equal or not chakra is confused of spiritual energy already

Reaper death is a pure non-corporeal it is unlikely that it is a soul and I don't think it has chakra.which is why is not visible at all.unlike Naruto soul which even Bee could see as a mass of chakra.

Zzsax, it is still visible to the caster. It is still a justu though. Some characters, depending on their feats, should be able to see it

Besides, Orochimaru affect it when he wore it masked it.

I don't agree with #1. Naruto isn't special in this regard. So yes, Choji in his example should, yes, with his chakra punch.

well it does makes sense, another feat apart from ("naruto soul grabbing")of chakra physical interacting with non-corporeals and there is no debunking this by anyone really.

Naruto soul grabbing is still shady and apart from the caster who summons the death God and is about to die,i don't think anyone can see the death God,did orochimaru and taka team see it? and while it's true orochimaru affected the death God,it wasnt directly so it's still shady

TheFinalOrder, also with mades a point above, most ninjas if not all have: Yang Release which the primary reason why Naruto Uzumaki (Part II) can use chakra arms. Almost all justus, falls under the category such Sealing techniques also fall under the category.

The only justus that don't apply are elemental justus and Ying Release justus which deal with the minds which can non-corporeal/intangibles like the Tailed Beasted; e.x: Sasuke Uchiha (Teenager) and Madara Uchiha with the sharingan, rinnegan.

Alos, the reasons why most users and justus are not linked is because they are that numerous

Also, any properly trained ninja as should be able to replicate the feat by Naruto Uzumaki (Part II).
