Calculating durability based on Heat Resistance?

Clive Lee boasts that his White-Hot Palm can melt a cyborg's arm like butter, with the melting point of steel being 1,540°C.
Is it possible to calculate Alita's durability, based on the fact that her hand endured the heat?

You could calculate Thermal Equilibrium; Mass * Heat Capacity * Temperature. Though there are multiple notes; for one it does not fully scale to durability. For reason one, you would also need to divide it by timeframe if it is any longer than a second it takes to get that temperature. But most importantly, calculating durability via extreme heat does not scale to how much blunt force trauma one can withstand by default.
