They were fighting in the hunter's dream dou a place that the moon presence created and the moon and there is nothing to suggest it's an illusion since nothing changes besides the moon presence getting ticked at you

The flowers begin being pulled towards the Moon because of the gravity. This is shown in-game.

It will only affect the god tiers (the Hunter for example) but not the rest
