Biscuit Oliva vs Steven Armstrong

According to his profile, he scales up from 1.15KT. Raiden in Ripper mode would be 20x that, so 23 KT, and Armstrong is stronger than him. That's still only roughly 2x stronger. Oliva can still hurt him, and he'd be fine against damage with The Orb
Well, no, he has a 20,76 KT feat, right here https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:AguilaR101/Metal_Gear_Rising:Revengeance_feats And he's vastly above this, of course, since even base Raiden, who at the time was NOWHERE NEAR him in terms of power, took the explosion with almost no damage. And again, fire manip ftw, you can't ignore this fact and Oliva has no counter to it

That's not really accurate. Raiden first fought in base and got lynched, absolutely demolished (Armstrong literally no-sold everything Raiden threw at him and snapped the sword that tanked the 1,15 kt feat after calling it a "nice knife") but he still took the 20KT explosion with no damage at all, after obtaining the Murasama however, he started the second part of the fight and he beat Armstrong in base

The reason of the power-up is currently being discussed in the CRT, but it's most likely due to Raiden having come to terms with his violent side.

That's in the newest Raiden CRT. He apparently fought with Armstrong in base in second stage. He wasn't in Ripper Mode, but that was definitely Jack the Ripper Armstrong was fighting right there.

This is Raiden literally 50 seconds after getting pounded for 2 minutes straight by Armstrong and tanking the 20KT explosion, and he was no match to Armstrong, mind you

Exprosiun

All of them really, all we are doing with that CRT is polishing the profiles and getting the scaling just right, the feats i linked have been valid for a long time now

Yes, but nothing implies that his resistence is superior to his AP, he simply has a ridiculous stamina and pain tollerance

No, Oliva is 15KT, Yujiro's rating of "vastly above 15KT" is actually from likely being able to twoshot Oliva, that's exact fight which you are referencing.

But he is 15 Kilotons for taking a Direct hit from Yujiro, one hit after that He got knocked out

He can't only barely survive a 15 Kiloton hit once, after that he can't hold up much

After the vastly above 15KT hit to the face, he was still battle ready. He was knocked down and his nose was bloodied, but other than that, he was fine, he ever tried to continue the fight, Yujiro just overpowered him and he presumably gave up. Oliva decided after taking a vastly above 15KT hit to the face that he still had a chance, so I don't think he was that massively damaged

Didn't Oliva just say "**** this, there's no way i can fight him with fists, gotta grapple him" right after receiving that punch? He was damaged enough to think that another punch would have been enough to put him to sleep. But Oliva's resistence is irrelevant, since Armstrong can just burn him alive with a fissure

But yeah, he would still try and convince Oliva, and Oliva would wholeheartedly agree with his ideals, so...

Seriously, there is not a single case in which Oliva would win, he's just outclassed in every regard and has no defense against one of Armstrong's most common attacks, his fire fissures.
