Best place to find the Release Date for DC Comics issues?

I'm working on fixing up one if our comic book profiles, and I wanted to know what is the best place to find the release date for the comic issues so I can add it to the reference section of the page? The DC Database pages don't seem to have the release dates (only cover dates) from what i can tell. Help would be appreciated.

Cover dates are 2 months ahead, so you can just remove two months from them if you know the actual cover date.

Grand Comics Database

The GCD is building the most comprehensive comics database. It is fully searchable and includes data on creator credits, story details, or other publication details for comic books worldwide.

However, you don't need dates for the issues. Just use DC database and use their volume system. It's a lot easier to do so, especially for files which needs hundreds of refs.

Don't bother with release dates, they don't coincide with cover dates and are subject to reprints and whatnot.

Just list issue and volume
