BB (Fate/Extra CCC) VS Sazed (Mistborn)

Ah. I assumed you meant things like physics.

Although, messing with the information of moon cell directly (e.g. Hard coding his existence into it), and thus BB as well, combined with his other reality warping could probably even that out.

However, I should be staying out of my own thread. Any questions about Sazed's capabilities I'll answer, but I shouldn't be saying how they fight

To be entirely honest here I don't know BB that well as a character (though I did look over her wiki page). I do, however know Sazed extensively. The way his powers work is by essentially being a living concept that resides in a higher-ish dimension made up of human thought. The only two ways I can think of to harm him is to change the concept of balance in some negative way by throwing his home planet of Scadrial into such disarray that the peoples concept of Harmony itself changes or to directly attack his investiture (essentially the energy that makes up his metaphysical form) somehow. I don't see BB being able to manipulate investiture so the other option is the go to. Heres the tricky thing though, you can't just destroy his planet and call it quits because that will just make him stronger by removing all of his power that he had invested in the planet in the first place and returning it to him.

Conversly, Harmony is a living idea so he has immense trouble going against his nature. If he thinks it's out of balance to kill BB he will just roll over and die.

TLDR; I figure BB wins because while Harmony is pretty much all powerful his one weakness is the changing of concepts. In her wiki article it states that changing concepts through reality warping is one of BB's powers so she takes this.

@Mage You make good poins except for Harmony just rolling over. Standard Battle Assumptions mean he is completely ready and willing to kill.

Votes:

BB: 3 (Fab, Mage, Rep)

Harmony: 1 (Gargoyle)

Yeah but I feel like the Shards from The Cosmere (such as Harmony) are kind of a wierd exception. They have one human mind thats totally willing to do things but the problem is their powers have a mind of their own, literally. In universe they call it the Intent and as far as I know it's never been cheated by willpower or a willingness to fight. It's not so much that Sazed isn't willing to kill, but more that if it was in direct opposition to harmony and balance his powers would fight against him and most likely leave him powerless for at least a short time. This is pretty much the only reason that the less powerful characters in the series are able to survive at all. I remember at one point that it was heavily implied that Odium (hatred was his intent) was trapped on another planet by giving him someone to torture that was immortal so he never ran out of things to hate about them.

If Sazed is going all out against BB, he's going to use his best abilities before BB realizes her authority doesn't work.

This is a matter of can Sazed kill BB before she realizes her authority doesn't work and pulls out the big guns and with reality warping I feel like he can.

My vote for Sazed still stands.

@Gargoyle

Even if her Authority doesn't work, she can still use all of her abilities.

Can he do anything to avoid getting conceptually annihilated or having the laws of cause and effect turned on him by the effects of C.C.C.?

Probably not, but combine the fact that she doesn't know her authority doesn't work and the fact that it's a noble phantasm, I doubt the first ability she uses compares to reality warping.

@Gargoyle

The passive effects of C.C.C. allow her to rewrite cause and effect, distort the time axis, manipulate matter at the atomic level, and open and close imaginary number space at will.

She can also make herself invincible as part of her Noble Phantasm.

Okay, but can she realize her authority won't work before Sazed haxes her? He's well above planet level and has reality warping as Monarch pointed out.

You even said yourself, "once she realizes that her authority won't work on Sazed", and as you pointed out, she can't use CCC until she enters her Moon Cancer form. Here's the fight.

When the match starts, Sazed is willing to kill, thus using his reality warping (combined with his AP being well above planet level) kills BBB before she enters Moon Cancer and uses her best abilities.

Done ranting.

She is fast enough to cross infinite distance.

"This is the borderline that lies between the seventh layer and Moon Cell Nucleus. Virtual Spiritrons are made of light, and it's warned that at the speed of light it would take 404 years to get past this border and to the computer addresses which lie beyond. This essentially communicates "that address doesn't exist" to anyone/anything attempting to pass. It's actually an infinite distance that cannot be covered even if you try for centuries. The only thing that can serve as a bridge across the borderline to connect Moon Cell Nucleus to the normal address space is the arena that Moon Cell made to summon the victor of the Holy Grail War.

…Is how it's supposed to be, but BB used an imaginary number space to force herself to become an infinite concept, and by using a fake arena she managed to break past the borderline."

One, that's not combat applicable in this case, that is travel speed using time manipulation.

Two, as said before, not combat applicable.

I'm gonna quote you: "Sazed kills BB before she enters Moon Cancer...". I assume you meant Moon Cell cause I don't understand this "...before she enters Moon Cancer". She is the Moon Cancer. Also, there is no before for her once she takes control of the Moon Cell. She is in the past, the present and the future, as stated in the "Novel Kars vs BB" thread.

Also, I don't see why this wouldn't be combat applicable. It looks similar to Edmond's Noble Phantasm ability. And she obviously didn't achieve that via time manipulation. Time manipulation wouldn't get her anywhere, as stated. "Infinite distance that cannot be covered even if you try for centuries".

No, Moon Cancer is the name of her second form, the one she enters when she fights the player, she's called the Moon cancer because of her second form.

"It's very similar to Edmon's Noble Phantasm"

They're not even in the same story nor does does it resemble BBs phantasm.

Also, if she is "fast enough to cross infinite distance" clearly this needs to be brought up on her page, also, wouldn't this be like.....Unbelievably helpful against Gil? Or did she just decide to not use it?

I don't remember her having to charge up or something along those lines which would require a certain amount of time to reach her peak form.

"Stated to be able to escape and move outside of abstract prisons like time and space." This is Edmond's NP. This sounds a lot like what BB can do, no Noble Phantasm involved, by placing herself outside of time and space. And this is stated on her page.

They are both part of Nasuverse.

Would it be helpful against Gilgamesh? Maybe. We don't know his speed. Measuring speed in turn-based rpg games is impossible unless it's stated. Gilgamesh is pretty broken anyways. He crossed the same path in the end, but I think he wasn't bound by "cannot be crossed" rule so it was only 404 light years for him.

She doesn't.

They're still completely different series and ultimately, it doesn't make sense for her to have an ability, have it be combat applicable, yet somehow never be used in combat.

"We don't know his speed" Hypersonic+ to high Hypersonic via powerscaling. Look on his page, MFTL+ TRAVEL speed which is useless in combat, and he was using a ship.

Even if she did cross infinite distance, it's irrelevant here, I don't see the point in bringing it up and if she did her profile needs adjusting.

Besides speed is Equalized.
