Battle for 4th Strongest 6-C: Heavenly Record Eater vs Negi Springfield

The HRE just needs to rewind time before the point whoever is inside him got inside him (rewind him to his first key or something). It/they should not have an effect on the battle at that point.
You know that ability might be time manip. Space-time Manip is not like that.

HRE controls both space and time

That description is referrering to his Reality Warping
By manipulating reality with his own will, he gets full control over space and time
Yeah that's reality warping not space-time manip.

@John

Reality Warping (sometimes called Reality Alteration or Reality Manipulation) is a term used to describe the ability to manipulate reality itself.

The ability to change reality into how the person in question sees fit, while ignoring the rules of science. Users can alter any item already considered real. Any decision made in the past, any item ever created, any movement, choice, color, atom, or molecule that exists can be changed. All of existence bends to the imagination of a reality warper. Users can rewrite the laws of physics and then change them back in an instant, universes can bend to the will of a reality warper. Examples include erasing things out of existence, granting wishes, creating universes, creating/altering matter, time manipulation, spatial manipulation, etc

He has showcased the ability of manipulating Space and Time individually, he did it to try to escape Yogiri Takatou's ID, but only failed due to ID's nature.
The description should likely be changed then, but still doesnt matter since Reality Warping already grants him control over both things

We shouldn't assume the HRE can bfr, especially not before Negi uses his win condition. (Whatever that may be)

I would say that the HRE's true form could nuke the entire universe (Which he was going to do against Yogiri), but that's kind of out of character for him...at least if it's simply his avatar which is in danger and not his true form.

It's out of character if he does not get forced to retreat to his True From, AKA his avatar does not stand a chance. When he was about to erase the Heavenly Record he was compltely unaware that Yogiri could affect his true form.

Normally HREs just run away if their avatars are repelled from a Heavely Record but the HRE that we actually get to see in the story gained Sentience and power which leads to him being enraged by the fact that someone can make him retreat.

But I am unsure as to if true forms are allowed to intervine that much in a battle.

Anyways, if Negi can't deal with time rewind and has no way (or at least faster way to put down the HRE due to time rewind + being unable to affect the true form of the HRE) my vote goes to the HRE.

Not sure if time stop or time rewind are the same. But when someone casted time stop, that magic was destroyed.

I do not think they are the same but the HRE's time manipulation is At least Low Multiversal in potency so I doubt that Negi could overpower it/resist it. Unless he has some resistance on the same level.

Because it was supposed to be a match for the spot of 4th strongest 6-C

Isn't Negi getting upgraded from 6-C anyways?

It's pointless either way since the guy Negi fighting has backing from a 2-C being which I honestly think is a dick move.

Also yeah he is getting upgraded as 5-B, he just defeated Ichigo on a previous thread.
