I didn't even like the way he killed both Pernida and Lillie, the only schutzstaffel who really got a good end was Askin, he was defeated by a plan from Kisuke that he, Grimmjow, Nelliel, Yoruichi almost died there.

Lille was a good fight, only Nanao's part was a little forced, Askin and Pernida were ok fights and to some extent elaborate. About Gerad, for me, the character itself just didn't have enough screen time, the premise of him being the heart of the king of souls and so feeding on the feeling of what's around him is very interesting, the way he died was really rough. , or at least ironic because it was a miracle that Yhwach absorbed him at that moment. I hope he has a better fight in the anime and an ending not different but at least better worked
 
I think we will be introduced to a bit of the Sternritter and see Quilge violate Halibel’s fraccion
 
I like how the anime actually had Yhwach using the Wind and the Thunderbolt against Halibel. At least Kubo remembers Yhwach can use their powers which makes sense since the Sternrriter girls are supposed to be recent or new additions according to Robert's dialogue to Candice. Don't know about W guy. Maybe he is too.

No, just the conclusion of Yhwach creating a Wind storm and using blue reishi lightning... you know foreshadowing and spoilers prevent the show from actually showing or saying he is using those powers... 🙄

They showed a bit of Harribel vs Yhwach but not really of them fighting 😑

Guess they don't want to reveal Yhwach's power too soon or maybe they just didn't want to extend what was blatantly a one shot

The scene where they were running in the garganta was really bad imo.

The only thing I liked is that they didn't cover the blood, I will probably watch Ichigo vs Quilge fight then decide if I will continue or not lol

What didn't you like about that scene?

For me personally, the animation for them running was a bit odd, and I didn't like that they just looped a couple frames for almost thirty seconds while Kisuke was talking, pretty lazy in my opinion.
 
Irrelevant scene of the throat, about Kisuke the important thing was to pass the information and the background would be merely a screen pass. For me it's normal so far, you shouldn't expect too much from secondary scenes but from the fights which is what matters in this arc. Anyway this is my opinion

Exactly, the way they were running is terrible lmao

I think the fullbring arc had a better
animation than this season so far.

But I will watch the Ichigo vs Quilge fight in the next episode to see if the fights will be animated in the same weird way or not

Overall i give the episode a 6 out of 10.

Tbh i think they should have stuck with the original anime art style just upscaled

Oh also I forgot the scene when Yhwach asked his goon if he is a prophet, in the manga it looked better

I mean even if I quit I will still watch some scenes like Kisuke's bankai and Kyoraku's, Aizen's scenes and other things like Kenpachi vs Retsu, Kenpachi and co vs Gerard
 
It's still too early to judge the anime imo, episode 2 only released today...

But there are some things that I think were poorly done, hopefully it gets better as it goes along.

I never commented on manga vs anime goober. I said you quitting the anime is cringe.
 
5/10 épisode why Is garganta animated like this ? The way They were running was weird.
We didn’t see a split second of Harribel getting stomped.

Daddy Ichigo Is too sexy tho
