Soul suicide? Hikone has Sk's fragments which prevent that from occurring. Their is no higher limit. Theirs a baseline limit you must reach for the first tier of transcendence,usually part of their body is fused with their sword. 2nd tier more of their body is fused with their sword and they become one with their sword.

No this was during his fight with kenpachi hikone was getting stronger. After that hisagi drained hikone and iko stated taking some of his reio fragments.

Aura saves hikone just in time. Iko calls her numbskull for helping hikone. Iko also said he only got a small piece of his fragments.

He can’t consume the Reio fragments unless he’s connected to Hikone in some way, because the Reio fragments are inside Hikone. Think for like a split second and it makes sense

We still don’t know the extent of Aizen‘s true power after becoming one with the blade, especially when nerfed by the fact he can’t actually convey his reiatsu in a optimal way for long distance while sealed, so for example long distance Hado would be less effective.
he could have easily reached SK palace and even destroy it just by flexing his reiastu, no other bleach character except SK Yhwach shown such enourmous range combined with that power, not to mention the sealing made his reiastu pattern full of holes and more susceptible to hax.
it might not affect his AP for short range, but it still a important nerf for him.
If devoid of sealing Aizen could technically keep hell gates shut by himself too.
people tends to just think about AP but having those sealing is a pain in the ass for Aizen to fight with overall, otherwise those sealing would be useless to begin with.
place those full sealing on shunsui, he might get a lot weaker overall in terms of combat abilities, Aizen can fight and still seems strong just because he is Aizen.

Cour 3 will have more of Ukitake... hopefully when he activates Mimihagi he himself fly up through Mimihagi and faces Yhwach in combat then lose as Yhwach sends him back through Mimihagi for him to die slammed to the floor and Mimihagi's curse adding to his injuries. That would be a more badass scene indeed.
