Nope. Even the war devil doesn’t remember world war 2, which was one of the things chainsaw man devoured. The last war they recalled was world war 1.
Nobody remembers the nazis either. Because they’re simply gone from history. Big conceptual erasure. This affects Makima too though she actually witnessed chainsaw man eat those names.

Strange, cause here she says how there hasn’t been a war since the world war. Which indicated the war devil also had their memories lost of world war 2. As was the case when Chainsaw man either devoured the world war 2 Devil, or the part that chainsaw man are of the war devil was the world war 2 part. Or something like that.
In the panel you show you see there’s a question mark as he says the word “Nazi.” This is because he says the word in a questioning manner as if he doesn’t know the meaning to it. This was in response to Makima saying “do you know what the Nazis did to the Jewish?” And his response was to not even recall what the term “Nazi” even meant.
Just the only reason she’s seen knowing these terms despite admitting that Chainsaw man’s conceptual erasure affecting her as well.

Well the animation and art is pretty top tier indeed. Love the kubo poem at the end too, hope they keep them in each episodes.
I just have some minor things i didn't liked : Chad is now a murderer, Ebern's entrance lacked the surprise and instant aspect it had in the manga and Yama iconic panel about security lacked serious impact in comparison.
The rest is pretty much gucci in my book.
