Irrelevant, he outright states that it won’t work on him in the first time. Aizen never using it on him would seem to support this.

Dangai Ichigo caught Aizen's sword before he used KS on him back in the day, so KS illusions won't work against Ichigo anymore. That's Kyoga Suigetsu's weakness according to Gin. What good would such a weakness do if he could put anyone back into KS if they stopped touching the sword?

Whilst touching the blade. You don’t just touch it once and are immune to it forever. Ichigo wasn’t even touching Aizen when he made the statement.
Tf are you saying? Gin was able to kill Aizen by surprising him whilst touching the sword. That’s weakness enough. Nothing in the series implies what you’re saying is true.

Aizen was fighting Ywhach 1v1 while being 3 bodies, he took all the hits we saw Ichigo, Renji, and Aizen take before he says the "so you think you're gazing at Ichigo" line iirc

Ik that's why i said limited resistance. aaAzen can make fake bodies with KS so the fact yhwach could still hit the real him is impressive

Or Aizen was taking the hits so Ywhach wouldn't suspect anything, since we see him break out of KS, and know KS doesn't work well on people with similar amounts of reiatsu to the wielder.

No, the reiatsu weakness just doesn't apply to Aizen most of the time, because of his IMMENSE reiatsu. Hard to be even close to his level there, but Ichigo and Ywhach should be on the level where they can break out

While everything discuss here sounds good on paper (because who doesn’t want overpowered Aizen) but it doesn’t make sense from the story point of view when is look at as a weakness for the characters to exploit and win against the bad guy. Is better than the villain not using a power for the sake of the character having to win against him.

Yhwach didn’t break out of it so its a no, Yhwach has not enough reiastu to power null it, because he is near Aizen.
Same reason why Yamamoto couldt negate Ks and get fooled with all the captains during the first ritual.

We’re not given any indication that once you touch it once you gain permanent resistance. “Whilst touching it” implies this isn’t case. How can you be this inept?

For starters it doesn't work on Ichigo who already touched the blade. Aizen even said he didn't use it on him because he knew it wouldn't work. What did Ichigo do? He touched the blade. What evidence do you have that it would work again on someone who touched the blade? I don't believe it will work. Prove that it will work. And I shall concede on the matter.

And also the reason why KS didn't work on Ichigo in this scene is because you have to see the sword release ritual before KS works. Aizen released KS before they all arrived on the scene and Yhwach had already fallen under KS when he went to see Aizen in the Muken. By default Ichigo did not fall under the effects of KS not because of his own resistance but because Aizen never caught him in the sword ritual which is what is required for KS to work in the first place. Ichigo arrived with an already released KS and didn't saw the released.
