From what the title says, this really isnt an addition to Arceus's hax but rather its more an upgrade for it. Specifically his Conceptual Manipulation. Im not sure if its either solid or vague but I wanted to voice my thoughts about it and see what everyone thinks.

Now to start it off, reason why Arceus has Conceptual Manipulation in the first place is because he created the concepts of Time, Space, Antimatter, Knowledge, Willpower and Emotion. That right there is pretty solid. But I've come to notice more concepts that I believe Arceus should be given for his C.M. here. Along with those concepts, shouldnt Arceus also be given the concepts of the Pokemon Types? And reasons?

  • Like the other concepts, Pokemon types did not exist until Arceus came and then started everything for the Multiverse, just as the other concepts didnt.
  • Arceus is literally the first pokemon ever born with the pokemon types at his disposal, which are then given/distributed to all pokemon in the multiverse later on. The powers of Plates are shared among Pokémon."
  • If I can remember correctly, the plates were born along with Arceus before anything else came to be and they are a part of him. And the plates have the powers of all the types.
  • There are multiple copies of Arceus's type plates throughout the Multiverse, while the ones with him are the original plates.
  • Arceus can specifically give what he creates a specific type of his choosing. Like what he did for the Creation and Lake trios.
  • The plates in the primary canon predate everything including Arceus himself and the Creation and Lake trios, given that these are there to record the creation of Dialga and Palkia and Giratina (courtsey of Cal xD).
  • "Two beings of time and space set free from the Original One."
"Three beings were born to bind time and space."


So if its okay with no problems, I think we should add more concepts to Arceus's grocery kart.

Does anyone agree/disagree?

That doesn't mean that he automatically has the power to change the types of other characters, particularly those that are not Pokemon. I'm not sure what this would actually be used for in a Pokemon fight.
 
Well Rep, I wasnt sure of this myself but it was something that was on my mind earlier and I wanted to let everyone else know about it.

I at least want Cal or Dragon to give their thoughts on this as well before closing the book on it.
 
While I see this as reasonable, but like Reppu said, I don't see how useful this would be?
 
For one, the concept of elements can be pretty good. Also, verse equalization is a thing. We have Arceus' plates negating things that would be classified as Pokémon types, and Rayquaza has a win over Frieza because ki~fighting. This wouldn't be that different from that. Imagine if Arceus could say, turn Hades' sword into water because he controls the concepts of steel and water and etc..

I agree. I never got the issue with Pokemon types anyway since Verse Equalization would say hi.

Though how good would, lets say, Psychic, Ghost and Dark be? Dark is easy as it would be the concept of Darkness. Same for Ghosts as it would be concept of Spirit/Souls. But what about Psychic? Concept of mind?
 
Kk. Would concept of dreams also be a part of the Dark/Psychic type? For example, Darkrai's Dark Void, a dark type move and any good psychic move that deals with minds and can have dream manipulation.
 
Oh yeah those too lol.

Whoa. If this works out Arceus will be purchasing a lot of concepts out of the Concept alie at Godly HaxRus. Im surprised no one has asked about this yet....

For the record, for anyone listening on, this is not saying that Arceus knows all Pokémon moves, but that he created the concepts the moves are based on due to our knowledge on the plates.
 
Damn it xD I can never spell it right. Still, Arceus will be having fun at the hax store now im betting lol....

In all seriousness this might really help him alot in some vs threads.
 
Now that I think about it, what would the concepts be from Dragon, Normal, Fairy and Bug be? Fairy might be a bit easier since its all about pixie stuff but im not sure.

EDIT: Scratch Bug, its basically the same as Grass.
 
Y-you seriously expect me to say that? Yeah no. I ain't giving you that luxury.

But, I will simply say I am not completely sold on this just yet. Seems too good to be true. I'll wait for more opinions.

Well normal is a vast type in Pokemon. Theres a bunch that has all kinds of different effects. Like Metronome or.......you know...

Also, im not entirely sure but would concept of fate be appliable to Psychic type? Aka, Destiny Bond.
 
I have another one but this one im not sure about either.

What about the concept of energy/aura? And there may be a lot to explain that.......
 
Kk. Should this be highlighted?

This sounds like an interesting topic that should have all pokemon experts on deck and there is something im thinking about dicussing too but I need a bit to think about whether to bring the point on. Though if I do decide to it definitely needs more input.

EDIT: Nvm, Cal's faster than I am...
 
You can't "verse equalize" Pokemon types. A Pikachu isn't gonna be super effective against Lapis Lazuli because she's a "water type".

Just tell me, how in the world are you gonna "verse equalize" Pokemon Earth/Ground being weak against water, yet at the same time have Naruto Earth/Gound attacks be strong against water? How are you gonna say that with AP equalized Gaara would be more effective against Pikachu because he's a "Ground type" while Pikachu is an Electric type, when in fact it's the complete other way around in Naruto?
