So after reviewing the feat/calc a few times that puts Sora and most of the Kingdom Hearts universe at "71xFTL", I realize that Ventus never reacted to anything, he just gets blown off his board. What am I missing here? He never dodged the ship at all, and he didn't react to anything. ƒÿò

Umm, i'm pretty sure he did react to the ship going into hyperdrive

He did in fact react to the ship going in hyperdrive. We even see him bring his arms up in a defensive stance and crouch before the ship actually moves but before it travels a fair distance. We see that in these images.
