Rein's passives are enough to make this a stomp, but the way Heavy Weather is described is completely different from mindhax. Just like seeing food make you hungrier, advertising makes you want the thing they're advertising or how Placebo can help cure some illness, everyone that looks at Heavy Weather's rainbows will believe by their own volition to be a snail. It's literally compared to subliminal messages in real life, it's just that but to a much stronger degree. Mindhax Resistance doesn't let you resist just finding loop holes about how the brain works.
So

1) Heavy Weather is currently transmutation hax triggered by subliminal messaging which is triggered by visual sight?

2) Can the spear be thrown faster than R turns into a snail?

Reinhard gets in Gladheimr and then travel in it towards Paris where its fires its lasor to destroy Paris and Weather Report.

Would the snailing work on Reinhard's skeleton army hes going to send out? Pretty sure they don't have eyeballs, brains, or even much of a will of their own?

Weather doesn't even have the range to affect Rein with the new rules

Mindhax resist allows him to resist the snailing

The soul armor quite literally reflects misfortune so it wouldn't allow hw to affect him anyway

Rein heads into glads, tps to weather and kills him

Pretty sure he won't teleport like with Methuselah and will use its in its giant skeleton mode while his skeleton army leads the charge, though either way Reinahrd is winning.

Heavy Weather doesn't have the range so moving Rein that far probably only made it worse.

That being said, I think this may actually be a non-stop win for Reinhard due to using the loophole in Weather's ability against him.

When passively exposed to Heavy Weather, you either

1) fall over into a pile of snails

2) fall over into a comatose snail state to start a new life

3) slowly snail over time

4) some combo of the above

If Reinhard gets a bad roll, then its inconclusive. If Rein gets a good roll, then he survives but passively kills Weather.

Therefore, I vote for Reinhard. This man might actually get his first real win assuming you move it back into each others natural range

The snailing is literally mindhax, drressing it up as "social influencing" doesn't change that. The soul armor also would stop heavy weather from affecting him even if he didn't have mindhax resist. So no weather has no wincons

Pretty sure Heavy Weather isn't passive because it uses light, while the Spear's mind/soul hax is passive.

That thread was evaluated by a total of 0 staff members anyway and from what I could see there was still disagreement over saying lolsocialinfluencing means you can't resist it like mindhax

Your putting an idea that the person didn't already have in their mind into their mind against their will, whether that idea is your now a snail or you think your now a snail doesn't matter, how is that different to all the other types of mind control that puts thoughts in their mind?

I see you only consider admins as staff members.

Dmua is a calc group member. If it was at least a dicussion mod or content mod they count.

It's not against their will any more than me telling you that you can blink manually, or that you can feel your toes, or that breathing is not manual if you think about it, or that you can almost always see your nose you just block it out, is against your will

Except none of those examples are remotely close to using light to send messages into someone's mind and make them think they are a snail

It's making them think something they would not normally think, it's against their will. They have no choice in whether or not they think their a snail.

They already gave the example of seeing food and hunger, which works on vision. In this case instead of food = hunger it is rainbow = snail.

It's not that complex.

No that is again no where near the same.

When you look at food you don't magically become hungry, you feel hungry if you already were. Looking at food doesn't force the idea of being hungry into your mind.

Heavy Weather quite literally magically forces the idea of being a snail into the mind of the viewer and turns them into a snail. That is textbook mindhax.

Look, Im not arguing this any more. Create a CRT please to add mind manipulation to Weather Report, and case closed.

Regardless all of the stuffs up there, what can Weather do against passive mindhax and soulhax?
If you have read the thread, you must have realized that WR is heavily outmatched here and that this is a stomp.

@regular

Be out of range since Pachi changed it

Other than that the rainbows can't even affect Rein because of the spiritual armor blocking the effects even if we say heavy weather's ability can bypass mindhax resistance so this is still a stomp
