I was looking for potential renders for Kid Goku, and while I was looking for his Blue Gi, I found out that in the manga, he only had the blue Gi in the first 2 chapters, but after that they change it to orange for some reason, which is interesting.

Master Kame was able to withstand Goku's punches in his base form, after Goku appeals for the Kamehameha, Master Kame takes a Kamehameha at close range and his body doesn't seem to have suffered any damage

Goku VS Gargantuar
Speed is equalized, fight takes place at a colosseum, Post-Korin Training key is used for Goku and Plants vs Zombies 1/2 key is used for Gargantuar. Otherwise from all those things, SBA Son Goku: Gargantuar: Inconclusive:

Mm. Nothing related to their race I can think of. At most I think is Lord Slug’s Terra-Freezing, where he turns planets into basically Star Cruisers via some kind of pods in his ship.

But it genuinely made me sad, almost making me shed tears.

I mean just....wow, I really have no words to describe how I feel about all this. Toriyama, while not the godfather of the genre, was the one who helped jumpstart the modern Shonen genre and what catapulted anime out from the East and to the rest of the world through Dragon Ball. I genuinely am unable to articulate how much Dragon Ball has meant to me in my life, and to see that Toriyama has passed away genuinely makes my heart beat all wonky and I feel numb.
All I have to say is this: Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama, and thank you for creating a legacy that is only rivaled by a select few

This is a real gut punch. DBZ was my first real anime. I remember watching DBZ Kai on Adult Swim when I was a kid. I even remember where I was when I saw that episode. I really wish I could shed tears for Toriyama. No matter what flaws the series may have had, his legacy and the joy that his series spread cannot be overstated. I hope he is resting peacefully in the afterlife.
