Ok, I'll bite, but I've played like 40 minutes of Golden Sun.

A lot, honestly. They've got pretty long power lists for a reason.
Alex has only ever started with using Water Manipulation attacks if I recall correctly, and using his flight for mobility while doing so. Being a Mercury Adapt and his history being part of the clan alongside Mia, we can probably also assume he'd be comfortable using his Ice and Healing a lot too. And after getting the Golden Sun, the first thing he tried to make use of was using TK on a target. After that, he becomes a bit of a wild card because he has a lot of abilities he should be able to use in theory but never showed them off.
Gaslowe meanwhile almost always starts every fight by releasing one of his poisons at the start, and after that he becomes a bit of a wild card as well with a long list of abilities, but more evidence that he'd use each of them compared to Alex. Pretty much everything on his list he's either used once or used multiple times, though he does seem to heavily favor his absorption, trying to absorb damage from his opponent's attack to heal himself and absorb magic out of his targets to strengthen himself.

Alex should be upscaling from 1 FOE by a decent but unknown amount
Gaslowe upscales from 2.466 FOE with his passive ability 'Devil's Detox', but if he gets his passive power nulled he'll drop to upscaling from about 0.648 FOE. However, Gaslowe resists Power Null so Alex may not be able to do that.
So effectively a 2.4x differance, but Alex's upscaling is probably better than Gaslowe's, so it's more of a >2.4x
