Well there was energy sizzling around in the pocket dimension when they did so and AX moved his hands afterwards. However, he also sent out an energy-wave to restore the earth (and presumably other stuff, since his white dots formed the galaxies), so it makes sense that he needed to create an energy-wave in the first place. However when Bellicus and Serena were going to destroy Professor Paradox they weren’t charging up anything and since Professor Paradox has a habit to leave at the last possible moment, they weren’t gonna start charging anything either. So for small-scale reality warping such as EE’ing a single or multiple persons, the EE should be thought-based.
Oh and for why Bellicus and Serena didn’t destroy Paradox after he detransformed Ben, we don’t know what exactly he did to detransform him in the first place so we can’t draw any conclusions from that and it could just be that Bellicus and Serena decided not to destroy him since the violation was that he went within 400 light years of them, but then he backed off so they might have just kept it at a warning.
Also now that I think about it, if AX's EE were energy-wave based then it would contradict Kevin's statement "they'd blink and we'd be gone", since for the Celestialsapiens the energy-wave would take more time than blinking. Thus since all other possibilities are eliminated, thought-based EE is the only option left. Oh and apparently Kevin's statement is the reason that Alien X has straight up EE rather than possibly EE, so the statement is accepted.

Oh I plan to revise hax resistance scaling in Dragon Ball but it’s like super controversial so while I agree that Demigra should resist EE via scaling, that ain’t gonna be on his page for a long while.

Yeah but like, Ben would still be immortal and have MFTL+ speed if he did just that and AX's body would still be there. I mean it could have been just teleporting but we don't know for sure.

The reasons for incon got debunked. Demigra first needs to ki sense to locate Alien X’s personalities/minds inside their pocket dimension outside of the multiverse before he can mindhax them and as such he’ll be too slow and get erased.
