Just recently, on November 11th, 2022, Pokémon anime protagonist Ash Ketchum has made history in the latest episode of Pokémon Journeys. For context, Ash has recently been competing in the Masters Tournament, a tournament in the Pokémon World Championships where the eight strongest trainers in the world battle for the title of Pokémon World Champion. He'd already made it to the finals and has been facing the current World Champion, Leon, for the past three episodes.

Today, though, we got the outcome of that fight:

That's right. Ash defeated Leon, meaning that after all these 25 years of the anime's running, he is officially World Champion. I really wanted to make an announcement post on this, especially since it was so important that many national and even global news stations like BBC covered this because of its sheer importance.

Congratulations, Ash Ketchum. And let this be a lesson that dreams do come true. 🙏

Can he beat Red tho
He can i'd say. Manga Red's Mewtwo sucks big doodoo since it never uses its op hax so He could probably beat it with the combo of melmetal and 10mil thunderbolt. the rest get stomped.
If we restrict legendaries then Ash should win for similar reasons, not to mention that he has G-max and mega evo besides his z-move.
