In finishing up the Sandman, I found a scan here that suggests members of the Endless can control the laws of physics within their realms to their whims. Would this qualify as a form of Law Manipulation or Physics Manipulation?

Secondly, shouldn't they also all have Abstract Existence related to the concepts they embody as well?

I think that there might be other obvious abilities that might be missing from some pages. If anyone has other abilities that we should add we can discuss them here as well.
 
I think that physics manipulation and abstract existence seem reasonable to add, but you should preferably ask Sandman31 to comment here.

It is much better if you edit your post to mention a summary of each statement in conjunction with each connected image.
 
The powers & abilities are explained by the statements which are justified by the scans that corresponds with them. Also, I would be able to if it didn't took a long while to do this and I have a schedule with other things I gotta work on, so there's that.
 
Well, it is unlikely that anybody will have the energy to constantly scroll back and forth between the statements and the evidence.
 
Well, I'm familiar with most of the stuff listed above.

I also just saw with Death having a "Manifestation" key. I dont think thats necessary

Characters like Obilvion (yea, Marvel characters but you get the point) have this for a reason.

Another thing, here's the list of abilities to add to the profile so you don't have to constantly scroll back and forth for them: Invisibility, Precognition, Perception Manipulation and Selective Imperceptibility, Matter Manipulation, Alternative Future Display, Summoning, Resurrection, Immortality Bestowal, Necrosis Inducement via touch, Soul Removal via Mesmerizing Presence, Fourth Wall Awareness.

Death's Ankh: Spiritual Awareness, Soul Absorption and Retention, Death Inducement via touch which leads to Zombification with Resurrection, Fire and Energy Projection.

Thats just Death turning into a mortal every 100 years, Death's just claiming Didi which is Death as a mortal. Making a key for Didi is redundant and the Death we see in Sandman is the true Death and not merely a manifestation
 
Not all of those powers have pages here on the wiki, I think we should prioritize on powers that we currently have listed. An updated list would be:

Invisibility, Precognition, Perception Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Summoning, Alternate Future Display, Summoning, Resurrection, Power Bestowal, Soul Absorption, Fire Manipulation, Energy Projection

The powers above are what would be new to the profile. Some of the other powers are already listed, but we could clarify those powers with descriptions in the abilities already listed. For example, her Soul Manipulation and Death Manipulation skills.

I also agree with @Sandman31 that adding another key for Death isn't needed. She should be fine as she is.
 
@GalaxianAegis That is not a logical reason to ignore feats relating to Powers & Abilities and not all of them have to be linked. Requirements like that should never exist in the first place.

@Sandman & @Galaxian Certain characters have that for a reason so most people don't accidentally confuse them with their true selves which tends to happen quite frequently actually.

The Death we see are her true self, it's just referring to the fact that the Endless, like Death has really no true physical form, their forms are subjective, a cat sees Dream/Death as a cat etc. But the one we saw in Sandman are the true Endless.
 
@Sandman Yea, we know that but when we encounter a being with multiple avatars and their true selves, we have to separate the 2 (especially if the avatars are dimensionally-bound and their true selves are not).
 
there's no "true selves", the statement simply means how The Endless doesn't look what they were really are, the Death we see in the comics is not some avatar, she really is Death. Calling it an avatar is misleading
 
Sandman31 is correct. There was even an anniversary story written by Neil Gaiman that made a specific point about this.

@Sandman "True selves" is my way of saying their conceptual & non-corporeal selves from their physical avatars.

Also, if the case involves the avatars looking completely different from the actual Death like how, for example, Beyonder & The Presence have physical avatars from their conceptual, non-corporeal selves. If not, then you would be right.

Anyways, I rechecked just recently and since there is no other physical avatar versions of Death of the Endless that looks different, then I have to agree on not adding the key then.

I can guarantee you that a simple explanation of these abilities would easily solve this problem. Also, quite a lot of people would know how these abilities would work, even if they aren't on the wiki actually. Here are the basic explanations for them:

  • Selective Imperceptibility (The ability to not be perceived and can only be detected by certain people or through certain methods)
  • Immortality Bestowal is basically Power Bestowl but the difference is you are giving people immortality instead (I highly doubt people don't know how that ability works, it is pretty self-explanatory you know)
  • Necrosis Inducement via touch (Causing people to have or giving people necrosis through direct physical contact)
  • Mesmerizing Presence (Your presence cause people around the area to be forced to focus their attention on you whether due to falling instantly in love or by your beauty alone)
  • Spiritual Awareness (This is self-explanatory and a limited form of Mon-Physical Interaction)
  • Soul Retention (Your holding on to a soul without releasing, destroying, and/or absorbing it)

Not exactly as I provided a respect thread, scans for the powers & abilities, listed all the abilities needed to be added and gave a short explanation for the new ones on about how they work.
 
I am just saying that if you overcomplicate this thread, it is very unlikely that it will lead anywhere.
 
At any rate, if the changes are agreed upon we can add Death's new abilities to her page as well as Physics Manipulation and Abstract Existence to all the Endless.
 
Well, first Magi Hussie needs to edit his original post so the connected scan follows each claim. Otherwise it will be hard for Sandman31 to verify this.
