Hey there. What's up? So uh, here's the thing. While we have a rating for aluminum, I don't think Spinosaurus considered the idea that aluminum is typically alloyed. We have five different alloys for iron: steel, stainless steel, gray cast iron, wrought iron, and damascus steel, along with two alloys for copper: bronze and brass.

What I am proposing is the addition of the alloy most commonly used for structures: Al-6061. Several sources agree on Al-6061's shear strength, which is 207 MPa: https://www.azom.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=6636

This gives us a Fragmentation value of 207 J/cm³.

Where it gets kinda messy is its compressive strength. This document by what looks to be an installation company puts Al-6061's compressive strength at 35000 psi or 241.32 MPa: https://www.giraltenterprises.com/Use_of_Aluminum.pdf

This leaflet from Mississippi State University geared towards metallurgy puts Al-6061's compressive strength at 431.1 MPa and has three sources cited: https://scholarsjunction.msstate.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1006&context=metallurgy

Still yet, here, the bearing strength (which is apparently just compressive strength with a different name, I checked) of Al-6061 sits at 386 MPa for the yield and 607 MPa for ultimate bearing strength: https://asm.matweb.com/search/specificmaterial.asp?bassnum=ma6061t6

I believe this can go one of two ways..

Option A:

V. Frag: 241.32 J/cm³
Pulverization: 431.1 J/cm³

Option B:

V. Frag: 241.32 to 386 J/cm³
Pulverization: 431.1 to 607 J/cm³

I do think this would provide more accurate aluminum-based calculations since Al-6061 is the most common structural aluminum alloy. So yeah, there you have it.
