Garou comes across a hero with abilities very similar yet very different to his own. But he's determined to succed in his hunt!

Garou starts out peak human and can go up to his Monster form if need be, though only if forced to evolve of course. Darwin starts at his 'base' level, so he doesn't start with any of the powers listed in his reactive evolution section as they would adapt to combat Garou specifically. No knowledge, in character, win by death or incap. 2 meters since melee is going to happen. Speed unequal. Who wins and why?

I shudder to think about tge ramifications of this

If we do shown ability wise, i feel Darwin eventually wins out due to his ability to adapt non physical abilities. Garou is similar to the hulk where most of his adaptation is becoming faster/stronger with him gaining rather diminutive hax after being thoroughly defeated or beaten in a confrontation, in comparison to darwins show capability to adapt to not only powerful but various hax very quickly/instantaneously.
