That is outdated as Astamon is no longer 2-A. However, the second 2-A reasoning is on the file.

Which mode is this? Sleep Mode or Rage Mode? (What am I doing with my life?)

Who is higher on the 2-A scale? Either way, here are some scenarios.
If Belphemon has higher AP, Belphemon destroys Abel and absorbs him. Abel regens, but at this point Abel is part of him. So Belphemon would have Abel's abilties (minus observation as Belphemon is clearly not human). Dunno what happens from there.
Belphemon inflicts Abel with the Sin of Sloth, making Abel not care enough to do anything, also allowing Belphemon to possess Abel and turn Abel into on of his avatars.
Belphemon goes on a rampage and eventually gets killed by Abel.
Belphemon goes back to Sleep Mode and puts Abel in an eternal sleep.

Meaning Belphemon can do nothing here. You basically pit him up against along the line of the top Digimon 2-A's....Belphemon is only a mid end. Everything he does is useless.
