Pretty sure Obelix gets absolutely wrecked by those abilities like petrification at least. Some of them are iffy but petrifaction should do the guy in right?

He's a game character and a protagonist so I assume Petrification isn't easy to pull off.

It's not? Weird, works fine for me.

To answer your question, everything else. It's sort of hinted at that the Magic Potion that Obelix is infused with wards off a whole bunch of diseases and poisons, but to assume that he resists all of that is NLF.

Yep. Especially as seeing that, in character, he is super casual and doesn't do much more than punch.

I don't know the ins and outs of Oliver, but I think that it's safe to assume that Ollie's versatility will be enough to overcome a possible AP advantage.

Personally, I'm voting for Ollie

Also, let me nitpick real quick.

Obelix is not a Viking. He is a Gaul. Gauls are from France, Vikings are from Scandinavia. Obelix actually once participated in an adventure when he fought against Vikings, confirming that he is not one

I mean

Homeboy viking doesn't have much in the way of abilities so I suppose the child beats him up FRA

Tbh, I'm not convinced Oliver's versatility could defeat Obélix on its own, as Obélix's is unfazed by pretty much anything thrown at him. However, Obélix is (very) dumb and would likely get distracted and stare in wonder at Oliver's magic instead of punching him to another dimension, giving Oliver plenty of opportunities to elemental spam.

The only way for Obélix to win would be, and I'm serious, if he knows a huge banquet is waiting for him back home, so he'd have to hurry up and beat Oliver or there'd be nothing left for him.

TL;DR: I vote for Oliver
