First thing is first, I should talk about Rai's main hax, THIS:

Gluttony: Rai can eat the name and memories of his opponent. To eat a name, he touches them with his left hand, then licks the palm of the same hand. Things such as experience, talent, and the likes and dislikes of human relationships serve as food for him, allowing him to take advantage of any abilities or memories his opponents had. However, if he eats a fake name, he becomes plagued with severe nausea: Those that have had their names eaten have their existences erased from the world, destroying any human relationships, along with preventing the use of magic and negating any contracts with Spirits. Those that have their memories eaten become amnesiacs, and any characteristics they may have had are reset, effectively making them into a different person. Those that have both their name and memories eaten simply become a shell, and although they live, they no longer eat, excrete waste, or age, putting them in suspended animation.

And how Woodie is protected by it due to CIS and its certain conditions. Essentially, he's a person who thinks the amount of worthy food is limited, and will want to see if somebody is "gourmet" by judging them in a fight and will hold off in using his Gluttony Hax until the very end of a battle, in canon he held off in eating a character called Rem's name and memories for 30 mins or more.

Woodie is also protected by it, if he isn't a type of dumbass who will immediately give a person their full name if asked. Hopefully, he'll give a fake name, since that will **** Rai by a lot if he tries to eat Woodie under a fake name.

Let me talk about Rai's other stuff, and how... he is very f-ing skilled. Copying from his page, he has eaten every possible kind of excelling, transcending talent, history, potentiality in the world, and even thousands of years later, there won't be anyone who excels in every single kind of ability like him.

Combat-wise, he has eaten and absorbed the knowledge and experience of tens, hundreds, or even possibly thousands of fighters and can expertly use it all to surprise and overwhelm his opponents, controlling the flow of the battle.

In-character-wise, for his starting move, he would likely try to introduce himself and try to have Woodie to do the same thing, if he doesn't, well... No harm is done, and will try to in engage in CQC with the bastard, since he also likes fighting people a lot. And will try to gague Woodie's worthiness from there.

The saddest thing about most Don't Starve character is that the greatest skill feat they have is simply fighting a bunch of gladiators who have existed only to fight in the ring so uh, not that great

I'm going to assume teleportation and ice blasts are normal to this guy?

Teleporting, yes. Ice Manip, not really. He'll use it if he sees the need, but he'll mainly use his blades and limbs to fight.

Oh ye, I forgot to say this in my last post. He doesn't have access to any people freezing moves. Rai's ice manip is more along the lines of creating ice weapons than anything else.
