It's always been in the back of my mind that this is Uzi's best (individual) matchup.

Speed is equalized, both are 5-A (Base Uzi [Allowed to have the Absolute Solver] and Canon Bass are used), and the battle takes place in front of a Wily Castle. Both start 10 meters apart from each other and have access to all of their equipment.

Who wins?

Bite me: 2 (Lloydblitzed, Tonygameman)

Sea Bass:

They both get met with a virus:

Ok so how will Bass respond to a Null Attack from Uzi
Bass has 9 spare bodies of himself so he can come back after dying, plus he can negate durability by turning Uzi into an extra life with the M-Tank. Not to mention, similar to Mega Man, he will be prone to learning patterns to know how to dodge attacks thrown at him.

Bass is not stupid enough to teleport back into range of Uzi after he just gets deleted like that with no way to fight back, he's range spamming the **** out of her from several kilometers away from that shit.

Except... no? Anytime he respawns, he appears at the last checkpoint he has been at, AKA near the fight.

What checkpoint? There are no actual built in checkpoints he has to lock onto to use his teleportation, that has never been a thing. We literally see Rock just teleport to some random spot on a completely separate planet and make his towards the boss there, so Bass can 100% respawn back home and just pull up from a distance, especially with Treble who can be used as transportation just like Rush's alternate modes since he's a copy of him.

..Are we literally forgetting that Bass can just turn her into a Life icon with the M Tank instantly.
I said that earlier, although from both the fights against him and his most general gameplay experience when he's playable, it isn't something he goes for inmediately

If he gets deleted first and comes back then he's going to use immediate insta kills. In the games you fight Bass it didn't exist yet, and it's up to the player to decide what Bass uses first, could be anything, really.

So what stops Bass from using long range and transmutation upon dying? I don’t remember spawn points being set besides in gameplay where it’s just that way to be convenient to the player.

Voting Uzi, Her Instinctive Action and Acrobatics would help her avoid Bass's attacks. Can use to Explosion Manipulation one shot Bass until Bass has no more spare bodies left. She would also likely outsmart Bass due to her having Gifted intelligence. Another problem is that Bass is arrogant which means he is is likely going to underestimate Uzi which makes Bass's chance of winning low. so Overall Uzi wins

Going Bass, he should be smart and skilled enough to camp and blast Uzi to bits or transmute her.
First of all, Bass has unknown intelligence meaning he has no noble intelligence feats while Uzi has Gifted intelligence combined with the fact Bass is also highly arrogant and egoistic makes Uzi the one who would outsmart him.

He literally has intelligence feats on the page, just no grade. He’s said to be nearly on the level of Reploids, robots with complete free will and deep thinking. Plus he has plenty of combat experience to know how to handle Uzi, fighting Mega Man and robot masters. He should be more skilled and his range game will let him win regardless of his ego.

I don't see how robots with complete free will and deep thinking counts as an intelligence feat. The worker drones also seem to have free will and deep thinking too. Uzi is also not only a skilled fighter too but is smart in general which allow her to do things like hacking mechanics or building a railgun. Due to her superior intelligence and is not arrogant. She is more likely to figure out a way to beat Bass first.

What way? He has better ranged options, seemingly more combat experience, 9 spare bodies, and transmutation. Uzi’s intelligence isn’t even that helpful here, hacking and building won’t let her fight better.
