[11th Round of 8-B Tournament] - Terrarian vs Satou Kazuma (0-7-0)

@Keewee

BTW, i don't see how Kazuma being corrupted would help the Terrarian at all, the only thing it would do is make him bloodlusted

What's preventing that from being game mechanics? It'd be stupid hard to fight if your projectiles can't move at all. And it especially makes no sense if the Terrarian can't move in those winds but his projectiles can.
It's stupid hard to fight while being pushed backwards, so it wouldn't really be much different

also the point of weapons is that they are > the user, so it would make sense.

It would also properly make him mindless or not be able to use his spells (the tax collector has a weapon but he completely ignores that when he was corrupted and just tried to mindlessly tear you apart with his bare hands).

Also corruption water and Holy water (which is Hallow water) does damage to the opponent so the corruption would probably just straight up kill him.

I definitely know it wouldn't just bloodlust him and nothing else, but if the outcome of corruption is considered too vague I guess it can be ignored (though Kazuma is not going to be Kazuma after being corrupted that's for sure).

When it comes to the wind being a gameplay mechanic (no longer referring to Overlord and am just talking about the match in general). I just played some Terraria again and the winds entire purpose is to throw around the player, however with dash items and speed increasing items like Hermès boots and wings you can push through the wind much easier but it still slows you down. The projectiles going through just means they are strong enough not to be pushed it wouldn't be a gameplay mechanic because the game shows you can indeed overpower the wind with enough force. Also the Terrarian's summons are intangible to people with NPI so I doubt the wind would stop them. If it somehow did they can be summon literally on Kazuma, along with a field that ignores durability, so can Kazuma auto dodge a field of energy he is standing in?

And when it comes to paralysis is it one of Kazuma's opening moves? He also still has to deal with at least one summon afterwards because every build in Terraria can have at least 1 summon and there is zero negatives when it comes to them.

Also sorry for the huge wall of text.

One big problem i see is Kazuma just taking away the Terrarian's armor, which would leave them with 9-B durability and so be oneshottable

The Terrarian increased his durability with Heart Crystals and life fruit; the guide even states that you need Heart Crystals to fight the Wall of Flesh. Armor shouldn't be the only reason he has 8-B durability. It helps the Terrarian a lot but if you fight the destroyer without taking any life crystals he's going to two shot you even if you have the armor you're supposed to have during the fight.

I'm serious though

Who is voting for who

Satou Kazuma already has a vote

And Bracket Rule states : "At the end of a 24 hour period, whoever has the most votes wins the fight."
