Just a quick, albeit odd question: what other than reality manip can remove a deity's divinity? I was thinking balance manipulation, but I'm not sure if that's the case. Also not looking for a super in-depth explanation, just curious what other methods exist since I couldn't think of anything...
I forgot to mention it 'cause I'm an idiot and still trying to finialize everything- But she's a goddess, if that means anything. I dunno what kind of immortality that is lol. But yeah, I just wasn't sure. I thought that 2-B made the most sense (before reading the explanation of tier 2), but...
So, an OC I'm making atm has the ability to effectively erase entire universes from existence, and then recreate them by "weaving" the threads of existence connected to them. This alone should put her at Low 2-C tier. However, she ca erase as many universes from existence as she wants. The issue...
If the glare is as soon as he sees someone (which I seriously doubt, and the description doesn't say that), then no. If it isn't the instant he sees someone, then yes the removal is much faster.
I'm gonna vote Altair mainly cause she could immediately remove his ability to atomize her, or if she wanted to she could forcibly take over his existence. And I also believe that she could most likely find a way to get around the atomizing, seeing as she escaped an infinite doorway trap in the...
I've always thought that she could do something like that yes. As for if she would survive doing so, I don't know.
And everyone else, PLEASE don't start harping on me for saying I think she can do that 'cause I really don't care if it's been shown or not in canon, I'm not trying to change...
I wanted to ask quickly, what should I do if I want to do a VS Battle with my OC, since she's technically 3 characters in one, all of them at very different tiers? And it would be unlikely for just one of them to fight in a battle, unless it's a special occasion fight. Just want to know how I...
Ok, for the summoning that makes sense, but I still don't understand why Magane would get Resurection when she wasn't even there to do anything, other than make audience aproval a non-factor. Like, she knew that Sota needed that, but she didn't directly contribute to Setsuna coming to life, even...
I only have to disagree with this in that Another (the anime) is decent, but not amazing. The book, yes there's a book and the anime is based off of said book, is much, much better.
Definitely had an actor that seemed more appropriate for the age of the character though.
I don't know anything about the comics so I can't say much about whether it was accurate though.
Can I just mention something? The summoning isn't a direct ability of hers, nor is the resurrection. It's all a side effect of her flipping cause and effect ability. With the Hound, she flipped cause and effect, her own lie, to make said lie true. She didn't directly summon the Hound, just...
Even though the wording says "anything"? And she's actually done more than what's shown in the game, at least one thing. She flipped the entire Shining Needle Castle upside down and didn't need help with it at all. I think she did something else, but I don't know for sure. Just something that...
No no, I don't think it would be canon, it would be non-canon. Hence why I said if someone were to RP as her, they could add any ability and it would work. But it wouldn't affect her offical profile.
So, I wanted to ask this after talking with someone in a different thread about it.
What is the general consensus as to how Seija's ability works? To me, especially with how the wording is on other wikis, the ability works in that as long as something has an opposite, it can be flipped...
This is all very cool. And definitely in-depth. The questions and answers also make sense too, which makes it even better imo.
Kinda connected to this, because of how Altair is made in the anime, if someone were to roleplay as her, they could technically add any ability to her and it would work...
@Jiangshi1 LMAO
@JBennett I hope not lol.
If anyone's fine with it, I'll share a fan manga of Seija I found on Danbooru (not lewd whatsoever). It's actually pretty good too.
I can also see if I can find anything for other characters.
I know a REALLY unpopular opinion:
Destiny and Destiny 2 are good games, especially as MMO shooters for console.
And I believe this wholeheartedly lol. I don't think they are the best FPS games out there, but they certainly aren't the absolute worst that many people think they are.
Re:Creators is an awesome anime and takes 4th wall breaking to an extent that rivals Deadpool, what with Altair almost literally destroying creation as a whole (that was connected to their Earth's reality anyways).
Anyone can write anything at any age, as long as they are old enough to understand what they are writing about.
For instance, the author of A Court of Thorns and Roses was 16 when she first wrote A Throne of Glass (a different series, same author), and it's become an award winning book series...
Not sure if this is unpopular or not, but I think Altair is the best character in Re:Creators due to the fact that she's both a villain and a hero (more an anti-hero though), recognizes this, revels in it and uses this to prove that being a hero isn't everything good in a story.
To add to this, Ghost in The Shell (Live Action) wasn't the worst anime movie in history. I haven't seen the original (want to, but haven't gotten the chance yet), but it wasn't really meant to be a perfect copy of the original. I'm pretty sure that it was cattered towards the general action...
If someone can find a completely original concept for a video game and make it big, I applaud them. That's kinda hard to do now though, because of how many different ideas have been portrayed in games already.
@Saikou eh, makes sense. I think that the one I was talking about is definitely worth looking at though, since it's pretty accurate from what I know of the relationship between Seija and Sukuna. Though there are parts of it that a bit of a stretch as to whether it would actually work or not.
Kirito is much better written than 90% of harem anime protags lmao. He at least does stuff for others, not just for his own fantasies.
OPM probably could have ended, but I think if the directors do it right then a second season won't be too bad.
RTS games are awesome. If you're good at them lol.
Do you read fan mangas? Cause I found one on Danbooru that was of Seija, and it's pretty good. Not sexual or lewd either, it's a legit fan manga that shows what the mangaka thinks happened with Seija after the events of ISC.
And I'll take a look at the Touhou wiki once I get home.
I don't know if it's that bad, but it certainly isn't the best. Amnesia: The Dark Descent was much better, or even Alien: Isolation and other more modern horror games.
You have any links to translated stuff I could read? I want to read stuff like Perfect Momento in Strict Sense but haven't had the time nor will to go looking lol.
If someone hates a series or franchise due to power levels, I think I would straight up slap them as hard as I could lol. I will say that I think the DB series is a bit oversaturated with high power characters, at least from what I've heard and seen through RP (haven't watched the show(s) and...
