Yeah, I totally believe it's because it's Sakura. I've seen very few characters people attempt to downplay more than her; I've also seen very few characters from popular series as hated as her; I don't think that's a coincidence, but either way, it's beside the point.
Two reasons: A) it's...
1. Yes, it's part of the motivation for most of the powerscaling we do among some of the more popular verses; it's really the only reason for a some fairly major character ratings (Sanji for example, and it's a major motivator in the statistics for many other One Piece characters, as well as...
I think that when both in-universe statements, and the databook say the same thing and the databook refers to the specific time of that chapter in it's statement, that yes, that pretty much does mean it's a fact. Obviously nothing will ever be 100% a fact, but this, like gravity, and...
The original evidence for 7-A wasn't just the databook, the point was raised that she herself stated in her monologue that she had reached their level. The databook was mentioned later as the two statements from the manga and the databook back each other up.
The databook wasn't suggesting new...
Keep in mind that there was a second division commander before Ace, and that everyone didn't get ranked up from that, so the commanders obviously aren't ordered; Ace himself suggest Teach should go for the position. Marco, Jozu, and Vista have likely been with Whitebeard the longest, that's why...
wasn't Yo Son Goku was considered canon before BoG was even announced?
@Faisal Shourov; Toriyama's involvement isn't the end-all be-all of canonicity; both the uper manga, and the super anime tell the story of the same events, but the don't tell exactly the same story, they tell contradictory...
It would have to atleast apply to Wendy's durability; and given how close Wendy and Sherria where, and that Juvia and Panther get the 8-B from pre-second origin feats, I think Wendy deserves it for dc.
I think the gap between them, and Gray and Gajeel is big enough that they need not necessarily be upgraded to 8-A; however Pantherlilly is currently listed as 8-B partially for being able to damage Gajeel, so It'd make sense to me to scale Juvia to that aswell.
But I'd wait for a admin to make...
I'm fairly certain when Jirou described "a violent massive energy", his use of the word massive wasn't the "in the context of mass" use of the word, but rather just massive as in "really big". Other translations I've seen used words that also implied huge amounts of energy, and had absolutely...
I'd say current showings put Laxus above Azeal so he should benefit from any scaling Azeal gets. That said, I think it's a but premature for either of them; partly because Brandish was sort of singled out for her power in this chapter (Makarov only mention one feature for most of the twelve and...
The OBD calculation doesn't have an energy figure for increasing the mass or anything like that. It simply uses regular density for the raised island, rather than assuming consistant mass with the pre-enlarged island.
Our current listing for Brandish' DC is was a low end alternative to this OBD calc, which assumed that she was capable of manipulating volume but not mass, as oppossed to the OBD calc which assumed she was proportionally adjusting both.
In the most recent Fairy Tail chapter Erza states outright...
Doflamingo could literally one-shot any of the paths of Pain; against the six paths Chou Shinra Tensei, and Chibaku Tensei are his only threats (except maybe Naraka path hax) but there's it's not enough; he'd tear through the whole group before they even have the chance to put him down.
Against...
I don't mean to hijack this, but the issue you brought up with Raizen's scaling is something that I feel is an issue wiki-wide. To give another example, in NNT Meliodas' demon form before he got his power back is listed as City level for being far more powerful than his base form and the other...
It's a permament thing, he himself wishes he could turn it off. It doesn't seem to work on people/things he doesn't care about, whether individually or as a group, but I mean, come on, it's Santa Claus. Everyone loves Santa Claus, so that could be his downfall.
I hadn't even thought about...
Can Santa even get near Zeref? Most of these guy's don't really seem like threats with their DC, and the few that have necessary hax aren't anywhere near fast enough.
If he has some resistance to Zeref's automatic death thing then Doom is his only threat, and I think he can probably take Doom.
Lightspeed Madara might be a good place to start seeing as a few in the other thread expressed their tiredness of it. Could mention Haku as well because, while I haven't seen it actually mentioned much, it doesn't seem like we'd get anything out of it and it does fall under the same sort of...
I've just tried now, and I can't find it anywhere, all I can find is people on gamefaqs referencing the statement, and a seperate statement from later about Xemnas being the strongest in organisation xiii.
I have atleast learned that the statement was from an interview after KH2 and before any...
After taking in most of kingdom hearts Xemnas was the most powerful character in the series according to word of god, but Zeus' feat with the stars still may not (or may) scale to him because it's possible he can only apply that sort of power in moving things in the sky or other feats of...
I found this in the comments section of Sora's page: http://www.narutoforums.com/blog.php?b=20815
It puts Kingdom Hearts and, presumably, the X-Blade a Planet+; so the top tiers get atleast that, I am fairly certain that the Large Planet listing came from Zeus.
doesn't the current large planet level listings for KH high and top tiers come from a different interpritation of the same feat? so if we're not scaling from zeus anymore won't the whole franchise will need an overhaul?
I've thought for quite a while that the planetary classifications are in need of revision; it says a lot that busting our own planet is a Moon+ feat, in fact I feel a lot of the issues come from the Moon+ tier, but that's neither here nor there.
However the wiki isn't in its stablest of moments...
The calculation only considers the attack as a whole, but I think that's fair because when it comes to attack potency the reason we disregard things often done in multiple hits is because it may not be representative of what the can output in a single attack, whereas when it comes to attacks...
